Sous l'administration\nTrump\, ces sanctions ont été considérablement renforcées. Les intentions du\nrégime Trump sont claires : provoquer un effondrement national afin de rouvrir\nCuba au développement mené par les États-Unis et à la domination capitaliste\nétrangère.\n\nParmi les conséquences directes et intentionnelles de ces nouvelles sanctions\nfigurent l'effondrement du réseau énergétique\, des infrastructures médicales et\ndes transports nationaux. À Cuba\, la pénurie alimentaire\, causée par la flambée\ndes prix\, la défaillance des systèmes de réfrigération et la diminution des\nstocks\, constitue un problème particulièrement urgent. Cette situation touche\ntout particulièrement les populations les plus vulnérables : les très jeunes\nenfants\, les personnes âgées et les personnes nécessitant des soins médicaux.\n\nCe spectacle bénéfice vise à collecter des fonds pour « El Mejunje »\, un espace\nqueer/punk/alternatif situé à Santa Clara\, à Cuba. El Mejunje organise des repas\npublics pour lutter contre la faim dans sa communauté. Under the Trump\nadministration\, these sanctions have been dramatically intensified. The\nintentions of the Trump regime are clear-to manufacture a national collapse of\nCuban society in order to open Cuba back up to US-led development and foreign\ncapitalist domination.\n\nThe direct results of these new sanctions are the collapse of the energy grid\,\nof medical infrastructure\, and of national transportation. One particularly\nurgent issue in Cuba is food scarcity\, caused by skyrocketing prices\,\ninconsistent refrigeration\, and dwindling food supplies. This especially affects\nthe most vulnerable population\; the very young\, the very old\, the sick.\n\nThis benefit is raising money for El Mejunje\, a queer/punk/alternative space in\nSanta Clara\, Cuba. El Mejunje is organizing public meals to try to alleviate\nhunger in their community.
