DESCRIPTION:A pre-pandemic rave concept returns from the archives. First imagined by Foreigner and brought to life circa 2019 for our collab event in LA\, PLAY now lands in Montreal as a present-day inner-child link-up. \n\nFor the occasion we've invited a cast of selectors who understand that dance music is at its best when there is intent and curiosity.\n\nFor this edition\, the Chicago-rooted\, LA-based DJ and tastemaker ANASTAZJA steps into the Moonshine orbit for a. Montreal debut. Working across house\, dance\, funk and drum-driven sounds\, expect a set guided less by genre than by rhythm - a sonic journey rooted in groove. \n\nAlso on the bill: MLLE CEE\, Club Sagacité alum and Fence Hop/Afrodite affiliate\; Felix Patry\, Homeby6 co-founder and longtime fixture of Montreal’s underground rave scene\; and Jokege\, closing with the konpa\, gouyad\, and amapiano session you were promised.\n\nMoonshine resident and core member San Farafina rounds out the lineup with her trademark sound.
