Its goal is to break the isolation\nof prisoners (especially those incarcerated for political reasons and social\nprotest) by weaving networks of solidarity\, memory\, and resistance beyond the\nprison bars.\n\nIt organizes political and cultural activities\, always based on horizontal\norganization and self-management\, without any support from the state or NGOs.\nEvents include talks with prisoners' families\, updates on the cases of detained\ncomrades\, fairs\, workshops\, screen-printing sessions\, and community kitchens.\nThey also hold artistic events featuring tattoos\, piercings\, and music to raise\nfunds and collect toiletries\, food\, and clothing\, which are sent directly to\nprisoners to minimally improve the conditions of those deprived of their liberty\nand their families.\n\nSOURCE: https://montreal.askapunk.net/event/noise-not-borders-saturday-matinee-1/
