DESCRIPTION:https://dulf.ca/ https://dulf.ca\n\n\n\nBetween August 2022 and October 2023\, the Drug User Liberation Front’s\nCompassion Club and Fulfillment Centre (DULF CC&FC) emerged as a groundbreaking\ninitiative and research endeavor dedicated to combating escalating overdose\ndeaths in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (DTES). As the first of its kind\, this\npioneering model operated as a non-profit\, low-barrier\, and non-medicalized\napproach to regulating the volatility of the content of the illicit drug market.\nIt not only built upon existing overdose prevention strategies by providing\nsupervised consumption services but also offered rigorously tested cocaine\,\nheroin\, and methamphetamine\, at cost\, to users of these substances.\n\n\n\nThe founders (Eris\, Jeremy) are now facing a potential life in prison.
