DESCRIPTION:Concrete Breaks presents Ego Death: Restoration of the Dance. A project that recentres the dance floor as the rave’s focal point.\n\nWe make our long-awaited return to Barbossa on May 1st with an event like no other. The DJs will be hidden\, with a mesh net acting as a barrier between the booth and the dance floor. Eliminating “performance” alters the entire atmosphere of the room. The dance floor becomes the paramount focus\, and the rave preserves its emphasis on collective experience.\n\n Ego Death represents a liberation from the self\, bringing about a profound sense of collective purpose. \n\nAs always\, we encourage art submissions from artists of all disciplines and experience-levels.
