Pianiste\, compositrice et\nauteure-compositrice-interprète\, elle fait preuve d'une grande polyvalence dans\ndivers genres musicaux\, notamment la musique romantique\, classique\,\ncontemporaine\, la pop alternative et l'improvisation. Chantant du plus profond\nde sa puissance\, ses émissions sonores enflamment les salles. Elle a collaboré\net composé pour le cinéma et la danse\, et a produit des œuvres commandées\,\ntelles que l'installation d'art sonore "My Ancestor Summons Me" au MOCA de\nToronto et l'œuvre d'improvisation "A Time to Exist"\, dont la première a eu lieu\nau Koerner Hall dans le cadre du 21C Music Festival. MAGELLA est une\nauteure-compositrice-interprète montréalaise au blues diasporique. Avec son\ntimbre puissant et chaud\, elle utilise les différentes couleurs de sa voix pour\ncréer une toile sonore. Elle aborde les thèmes de l'isolement\, de l'identité et\nde la résistance. She is a pianist\, composer\, and\nsinger-songwriter\, showcasing her versatility in various musical genres\,\nincluding romantic\, classical\, contemporary\, alternative pop\, and\nimprovisational music. Singing from the depths of her power\, her sonic emissions\nset rooms ablaze. She has collaborated and composed for film and dance\, as well\nas produced commissioned work\, such as the sound art installation "My Ancestor\nSummons Me" at MOCA Toronto and the improvisational work "A Time to Exist\,"\nwhich premiered at Koerner Hall during the 21C Music Festival. MAGELLA is a\nMontreal-based singer-songwriter with the diasporic blues. With her powerful\,\nwarm tone\, she uses the various colours of her voice to create a sonic canvas.\nShe examines the themes of isolation\, identity and resistance.
