DESCRIPTION:FESTIVAL DEFUND LA POLICE – 17 SEPT. – PARC VINET – 12h-22h\n\n(English below)\n\nLe Festival Defund la Police est un événement dédié au définancement de la\npolice\, au réinvestissement dans nos communautés et à la création d'une ville\nplus sûre pour tous et toutes.\n\nLe festival comprendra une série de conférences et d'ateliers sur divers aspects\nde la sécurité communautaire\, mais aussi de la musique\, de l'art\, de la\nnourriture\, des jeux\, ainsi que de nombreuses occasions de créer de nouvelles\namitiés et de s'impliquer dans le mouvement pour des communautés plus sûres.\n\nLe festival débute à midi. Les ateliers et les conférences auront lieu de 13h à\n18h. Un service de garderie sera disponible sur place et des activités seront\noffertes aux enfants toute la journée. Il y aura également de la nourriture\ngratuite et des expositions d'art.\n\nLe festival est organisé par la communauté avec le soutien de QPIRG-Concordia et\nla Coalition pour le définancement de la police.\n\nMarquez vos calendriers. Programmation complète et plus d'informations à venir !\n\n---\n\nDefund la Police Festival is an event dedicated to defunding the police\,\nreinvesting in communities\, and creating a safer city for everyone.\n\nThe festival will include a series of talks and workshops on various aspects of\ncommunity based safety\, music and art\, food and games\, and many opportunities to\nmake new friends and get more involved in the movement to create safer\ncommunities.\n\nThe day starts at noon. Workshops and talks will occur from 1pm to 6pm. There\nwill be a daycare and activities for children all day\, as well as free food and\nart exhibits.\n\nThe festival is organized by the community with support from QPIRG-Concordia and\nDefund the Police Coalition\n\nMark your calendars.
