Dix canaux de radio FM pirate sont diffusés par quatre réseaux de\nhaut-parleurs fabriqués à la main\, chacun étant conçu pour interagir avec le\npotentiel acoustique de résonance du mur de béton auquel il fait face.\n\nLa sculpture - composée de klaxons\, de caissons de basse\, d'amplificateurs et de\nradios FM accordables - transmet des couches d'une composition dans l'espace. Le\npublic sera invité à sélectionner l'une des dix boucles sonores pour chacun des\nquatre haut-parleurs\, en les mélangeant et en les associant pour manipuler\nl'environnement sonore.\n\nSur le plan thématique\, l'œuvre explore les expériences émotionnellement\nchargées des artistes qui naviguent dans des fossés éthiques et politiques\nirréconciliables avec les sionistes alors que nous continuons à crier pour la\nliberté des Palestinien.ne http://palestinien.ne.s de l'occupation\, du siège\net du génocide aux mains de l'État d'Israël. Enfermée sur trois côtés et faisant\ndirectement face à un mur\, l'œuvre devient une métaphore de ces conversations\nsouvent exaspérantes qui peuvent nous donner l'impression de parler à des murs -\net souvent de leur crier dessus. Cette fois\, le sentiment qui se dégage de cette\nmétaphore n'est pas celui de la résignation\, mais celui d'une profonde\nconviction. Ten channels of FM pirate radio broadcast through four handcrafted\nspeaker arrays\, each designed to interact with the resonant acoustic potential\nof the concrete wall they face.\n\nThe sculpture – comprised of horns\, subwoofers\, amplifiers\, and tunable FM\nradios – transmits layers of a composition into the space. Visitors will be\ninvited to select one of the ten sound loops for each of the four speakers\,\nmixing and matching to manipulate the soundscape.\n\nThematically\, the work explores the artists’ emotionally charged experiences\nnavigating irreconcilable ethical and political rifts with zionists as we\ncontinue to cry out for Palestinian freedom from occupation\, siege and genocide\nat the hands of the state of Israel. Enclosed on three sides\, and directly\nfacing a wall\, the work becomes a metaphor for these often infuriating\nconversations that can leave us feeling like we’re talking to – and often\nscreaming at – walls. This time\, the sentiment around this metaphor is not one\nof resignation\, but one of deep conviction.
