DESCRIPTION:Transport to otherworldly realms through ritual and dark soundscape.\n\nMontréal: May 16th as part of Sainerine & THRTDSPLY's cross-country tour. Doors\nat 6:30pm\, show at 7:00pm sharp! Show will wrap up by 10:00PM. DM for address.\n$10-15 at the door.\n\nAccessibility: There will be a wheelchair ramp\, gender-neutral bathrooms\, and a\nchill area to hang out upstairs. There is an area to smoke in the backyard\, but\nnoise must be kept to a minimum. This is a masks recommended and provided event.\n\nSainerine combines operatic vocals\, experimental synth sound and the ritual of\nself-mortification carried out with an industrial staple gun. Alongside their\nzine manifestos "Bloodletting" and "Mutilation Autonomy"\, Sainerine is a study\nof the socio-political interpretations of blood\, bleeding\, and ultimately\, body\nautonomy. Sainerine’s background in classical music and upbringing in the\nCatholic Church have fueled their critique of institutions\, displaying the\nimpact on a body held to an impossible standard\n\nTHRTDSPLY is experimental bedroom noise inspired by unregulated emotional\ncatharsis.\nM\, with a background in various genres of metal and punk has settled into the\nharsh soundscape of noise with their creative take\, showcasing the glaring\nindustrial shards of harsh noise with frigid synth drones.\n\nReliquary V is the solo electronic music project of avant garde artist Kayla\nGuthrie\, whose work crosses between the realms of contemporary art and\nunderground subcultures. With a neo-gothic sensibility wrought from murky\nthreshold zones and liminal states\, Reliquary V radiates the ever-changing self\nforged in atmospheric sound rituals.\n\nArmed with an insatiable curiosity and a relentless desire to innovate\, FSK1138\nfearlessly ventures into unexplored territories\, constantly challenging the\npreconceptions of what electronic music can be. The hallmark of FSK1138’s\nproductions lies in their ability to create atmospheric compositions that\ntransport listeners to otherworldly realms.
