Her music carries stories and melodies from the people and the\nplaces that have left a mark on her soul. Naghmeh draws inspiration from the\nheartbreaks of the modern world and the whispers from the universe. From\nintimate acoustic moments to thunderous crescendos\, Naghmeh's sound is a\ntestament to the beauty found in chaos.\n\nUndertow Brass Band (FKA What Cheer? Brigade) is a brass band from Providence\,\nRI\, USA. We prove that great parties need no electricity.\n\n“Thrillingly competent\, with undimmable energy…an explosion of good cheer.”\n\n- The New York Times\n\nSince 2005\, the band has been as likely to appear at community benefits as at\nall-night parties\, playing bars\, clubs\, streets\, libraries\, cemeteries\,\nweddings\, bus stops\, and playgrounds. We’ve played with Blondie\, Dan Deacon\, Man\nMan\, Japanther\, Dengue Fever\, Okkervil River\, Lightning Bolt\, Ninjasonik\, Mika\nMiko\, Wolf Parade\, Matt and Kim\, Slavic Soul Party\, Javelin\, Sage Francis\, and\nChain and the Gang. We’ve appeared at Lollapalooza\, The Newport Folk Festival\,\nAarhus Festuge (Denmark)\, Sziget (Hungary)\, and Guca (Serbia)\, offering mobile\nmoments of intense revelry.\n\n\nBenefits distributed by Mubaadarat. https://www.instagram.com/mubaadarat/\n\nMubaadarat\, means Initiatives in Arabic\, is a non-funded grassroots collective\nby and for LGBT+ people from Arabic speaking regions\, who found a new home in\nCanada. The collective is more than just a group\; it's a lifeline for those\nnavigating the intersection of LGBT+ identity\, cultural heritage and migration.\nThrough their diverse array of activities and events\, they provide a space where\nindividuals can explore\, celebrate\, and express their true selves without fear\nor judgment.\n\nMubaadarat collective was started by an LGBT+ Palestinian side by side with\nother LGBT+ people from Arabic speaking regions. Current Palestinian leadership\nwithin Mubaadarat helps the collective apply a framework throughout a\nPalestinian lens. A lens that believes that programming throughout the cultural\nlens is a key in the well being of mental health\, physical health and overall\nwellbeing. A Palestinian knowledge of the importance of the continuity of\npracticing ancient cultures and languages by their own nations. An importance\nthat Palestinians know due to cultural genocide they faced and still facing due\nto occupation of the Zionist entity.
