DESCRIPTION:PUNKDT grew out of a shared musical instinct between Queenie Jr and Vayia. The project gradually took shape through an attachment to a certain gritty and groove heavy world of the late 90s and early 2000s.\nDrawn to records that feels worn in rather than overdesigned\, PUNKDT is rooted in a sound that feels tactile\, physical\, and lived in.\nMoving between vinyl and digital\, PUNKDT is a passion project in the truest sense\, shaped by a desire to bring back a sound that feels raw\, chunky\, sexy\, and focused. This night marks the official launch of the project\, with original releases expected to be out by then and the possibility of a small run of vinyl cuts available at the party as well.\n\nCo-founder of Slut Island Festival and creator of the Lip Mix series\, Frankie Teardrop crafts emotional\, euphoric DJ sets through techno\, tech house\, trance\, and if the moment calls for it\, dub techno.
