DESCRIPTION:English will follow //\n\nVenez fêter la fin de Lèche-vitrine lors du party de clôture le samedi 18 avril de 16h à 23h à Espace Transmission !\n\nArrivez tôt pour profiter des shows!\n\nPour la clôture de Lèche-vitrine\, nous invitons des artistes montréalais à performer dans les décors de l'exposition ! \n\nLes live shows prendront place au milieu d'un monde citadin\, organisé en commerces et espaces publics. Nous célèbrerons cette ville créée de toute pièce une dernière fois afin de marquer la fin de cette exposition !\n\nPrenant la forme d’un décor urbain\, d’une ville où le public est invité à redécouvrir et réinterpréter son environnement quotidien sous un nouvel angle\, Lèche-vitrine entend porter un regard critique sur la société de consommation\, un monde d’interactions marchandes et superficielles où l’on veut posséder toujours plus et le montrer\, être vu pour exister\, voir pour convoiter. En s’inspirant de l’iconographie urbaine\, le projet reprend les codes du monde citadin pour dénoncer l’absurdité du consumérisme\, ses excès\, son caractère obsédant et parfois obscène. \n\n//\n\nCome celebrate the end of Lèche-vitrine at the closing party on Saturday\, April 18\, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Espace Transmission!\n\nCome early :) \n\nFor the closing of Lèche-vitrine\, we are inviting Montréal artists to perform within the exhibition sets!\n\nThe live shows will take place in the middle of an urban world organized into shops and public spaces. It will be a chance to celebrate this city created from scratch one last time and mark the end of this exhibition!\n\nTaking the form of an urban set - a city where the public is invited to rediscover and reinterpret their everyday environment from a new perspective - Lèche-vitrine offers a critical look at consumer society: a world of commercial and superficial interactions where the desire is to possess ever more and to show it\, to be seen in order to exist\, to see in order to covet.
