DESCRIPTION:Metropolis returns for its fourth edition on Thursday\, February 12th at Barbossa\, continuing its commitment to underground techno\,\n\nFor this edition\, Metropolis brings together Esse Ran and MPHS\, two Montreal-based techno producers who are actively contributing to the development of a distinct musical identity through both their productions and curatorial work.\n\nFounder of Humidex Records\, Esse Ran has been shaping a focused artistic vision since 2019\, creating connections between Montreal and international electronic scenes. Driven by a strong passion for the electronic sound\, his productions bridge the gap between groovy and dark techno in a manner that speaks to both the body and the mind.\n\nOriginally emerging from Bogotá’s underground techno scene\, MPHS is now firmly rooted in Montreal\, where she leads the FORM event series under Plural Forms. Since 2020\, her releases have been featured in respected venues such as Perron in Rotterdam and Tresor in Berlin. With seven EPs released across North American and European labels\, her sound continues to evolve through hypnotic structures and detailed sound design. \n\nMetropolis is built around progression and depth\, offering a space where techno can unfold patiently over the course of the night.\n\n10PM - 3AM\n$7 at the door
