DESCRIPTION:As we finish up the final touches on Système 2.0\, we are reopening our doors for one night only - a Nuit Blanche all-night affair curated by Temple Records\, featuring live performances by Alan Harman and Medio Mutante\, alongside sets by Sako and the Temple DJs.\n\nMedio Mutante\, led by Seth Nemec\, delivers a hybrid Electro Wave / Minimal Synth sound that fuses analog synthesizers\, drum machines\, Spanish-language vocals\, and influences from ’80s New Wave\, hip hop\, and Latin freestyle. The result is a propulsive\, unpredictable energy true to the project’s name.\n\nAlan Harman is a Canadian coldwave artist known for his entirely analog live recording process and dedication to a bleak\, immersive sound. Raised in a small town infamous for its unusually high levels of radiation in the soil\, Harman spent his youth searching for meaning beyond religion\, eventually finding it through synthesizers and coldwave music. Now based in Montreal\, he performs regularly in clubs and bars alongside artists such as Kontravoid and Xeno & Oaklander.\n\nJoining the live acts are Temple Records DJs - ie Richard and M Salaciak. Temple Records is a Montreal-based label run by Matt Salaciak (M Salaciak\, Variant)\, Richard Wenger (Richard Lamb\, Science Friction)\, and Adam Feingold (Ex-T\, Pondlicker). Active for over a decade\, the label focuses on left-field electronic music\, ranging from glitch and IDM to minimal synth.\n\nAnd to round things out\, Montreal’s finest Sako brings a touch of bass to the fold. As one of the masterminds behind the iconic Bijou party\, as well as his hand-built soundsystem Pomelo\, Sako is at the core of the MTL dance community. Nobody better to get us back in motion!
