For his Montreal debut\, he plunges into the natural environment and blends ethereal soundwalking with complex audio manipulations\, mixing airy and euphoric atmospherics with hypnotizing mental reveries.\n\nMyfanwy & fdg.\n\nBased on recordings collected during their recent artist residency in Iceland\, the multidisciplinary duo explore the decaying sounds of nature through a lens of globalized tourism and growing industrialization. Expanding on similar themes heard in their Wasteland audio work presented at Centre CLARK\, this sonic evolution pursues deeper connections to the land while maintaining the urgency of climate crisis and ecological care.\n\nAnnexes\n\nBorn out of his love for cinematic ambiances and avant-garde soundtracks\, this project aims to collect an array of audio fragments and combine them with lush and flowing orchestral pads. While embracing the darker sides of ambient music\, this debut live set will encompass a range of new soundscapes while focusing on patterns explored on his previous release “Ses yeux bleus sont du cinéma” on Midnight Proposals.\n\nKore\n\nMother\, scholar\, musician and DJ\, she embraces the subtlety of life through nurture and care. This set marks the evolution of her craft\, fusing smooth classical influences with experimental flourishes. Her recent mix for Commo highlights her versatility while also presenting a distinct vision and sound. Expect to be transported by drifting ambient zones and electronic dreamscapes.
