DESCRIPTION:TOTEM 2013\n\nPour sa seconde édition\, le Festival Totem vous donne à nouveau rendez pour une fin de semaine en plein air. De nombreux artistes locaux et internationaux se succéderont pendant près de trois jours dans un petit paradis de verdure au bord de l'eau. Le festival ouvrira ses portes le vendredi 26 juillet à 15h et s’achèvera le dimanche 28 juillet à 19h.\n\nTotem mêle grands espaces\, arts numériques et musiques électroniques.\n\nNe manquez pas ce rendez-vous !\n\n\nLES CHUTES DE STE-AGATHE\n\nSitué à 2h30 de Montréal et à 1h de Québec\, le site des Chutes de Sainte-Agathe-de-Lotbinière se trouve au coeur d'une réserve naturelle \, un lieu incomparable pour camper sous les arbres\, plonger dans la rivière ou encore profiter du soleil sur la plage.\n\nÀ cet égard\, nous faisons appel à votre collaboration et nous vous demandons de ne rien laisser derrière vous. Des poubelles et des bacs de récupération seront visibles à plusieurs endroits sur le site. De plus\, les bouteilles de verre et la baignade de nuit seront interdites par mesure de sécurité.\n\n\nARTISTES\n\n\nCRYSTAL DISTORTION\nSpiral Tribe / Expressillon (UK)\n\nDepuis 1991 Crystal Distortion a toujours été un avant-gardiste des expérimentations musicales. Il a été signé par le label Rising High avant ses vingt ans et a sorti sous divers alias des œuvres qui ont marqué les esprits.\n\nEn tant que membre de Spiral Tribe\, il a joué un rôle important dans la définition de la direction musicale du sound system. Pratiquant à la fois la production et le live \, il est rapidement devenu un des artistes les plus acclamés d’Europe. Il a posé sa marque très personnelle sur la plupart des styles électroniques des 20 dernières années\, et son extraordinaire capacité à tordre la technologie pour ouvrir de nouvelles dimensions en a fait une icône.\n\n\n\nHEDFLUX\nBroken Robot rec / Lot 49 (UK)\n\nSteve Young aka Hedflux synthétise un brillant nouvel horizon dans la musique élèctronique. Alliant une grosse dose de tech-funk et psychedelique le résultat est un hybrid charactérisé par sa précision au laser\, ses “grooves“ ainsi qu’une énergie hypnotique.\n\nLa pièce phare de 2010 “Mindcell” démontre le style d’Hedflux. Passant dix semaines au top des ventes “beatport breaks” et devenant la troisième meilleure vente des pièces breaks de l’année\, Mindcell à gagné la mention meilleure pièce 2011 au “Breakspoll International Breakbeat Awards”. The gates will open at 3pm on Friday\, July 26th and the festivities end at 7pm on Sunday\, July 28th.\n\nTotem festival offers the ideal mix of the great outdoors with digital arts and electronic music.\n\nDon't miss out on the good times!\n\n\nSTE-AGATHE WATERFALLS\n\nLocated 2.5 hrs from Montreal\, the site des Chutes (Waterfalls) de Sainte-Agathe-de-Lotbiniere is found in a natural reserve\, and is the perfect place for camping under the shade of the surrounding trees\, swimming in the winding river or soaking up the sun on the beach.\n\nTherefore\, we ask for your collaboration and that you leave no trace behind.
