DESCRIPTION:TEMPO is a new series of events focusing on the freshest sounds in International Bass music.\n\nFor this edition\, ESL Productions and Metrotalent join forces to bring you one of UK’s most talked about artist in the club scene: Cooly G\, for her first appearance in Montreal and in Canada.\nEver since her signature to Kode9’s Hyperdub label in 2008\, and the two following singles (Narst & Weekend Fly)\, Cooly G\, a semi-pro female footballer and UK house producer/ DJ from Brixton (South London)\, has gathered an infinite amount of attention for her unique blend of "deep house tribal dubstep vibe"\; existing in its own hinterland - abstract post-garage beats that slowly shuffle into life\, dubbed out\, with her own cut up vocal snippets singing painterly half phrases.\n\nShe was “Single of the week” in the Guardian Newspaper\, “One to Watch” in the Independent newspaper\, received international press\, and was immediately snapped up for remixes by the majors\, resulting in a demand for her appearance\, all over the world.\nHer sound defies common genre limitations.
