You have never seen anything like this before! The future of RAVE is here!\n\n---\n\nDecades after the fall of PLUR\, the people of Earth turned to the stars for salvation. Under the leadership of the Ravewave Alliance\, scientists discovered that phat beats could fuel faster than light propulsion. The alliance built dozens of giant space ships that were the size of small cities\, and equipped these vessels with special sound systems that converted music into energy.\n\nThe Alliance dubbed their space initiative Project Odyssey. They marshaled the resources of the world under the banner of this initiative\, and raised an army of DJs to pilot these star cruisers across the galaxy. \n\nThe first ship to launch was Spacey Bassey\, an explorer class vessel that was entrusted with the task of establishing a colony in the Alpha Centauri system. At the helm of the Spacey Bassey was General Thog\, a beast of a man who was covered in scars and reeked of whiskey and cigars. The General had made a name for himself during the Holocaust\, and the Alliance felt he was a perfect fit for Project Odyssey.\n\nHe was. The General and his crew reached Alpha Centauri without a hitch\, but they were shocked to discover that the star system was already home to a planet teaming with life. The Spacey Bassey sent out a couple of scout ships to study this mysterious planet\, and when none of them returned\, the General became concerned. \n\nThat concern turned to dread when he noticed a massive cloud of alien spores heading towards his ship. He didn't know what they were\, but he knew in his gut that they were hostile. Soon\, the spores had surrounded the Spacey Bassey\, freezing it in place. None of the traditional weapons on board seemed to do anything to the spores. The space lasers were ineffective. The biological bombs had no impact. The thunder rockets\, the fire guns\, the nuke knives\, nothing worked. \n\nAnd then\, a miracle happened. The spores had been sucking the energy out of the Spacey Bassey for hours. This sound room where music was converted into fuel was the area that the spores seemed to be the most interested in. The General hit on the idea of stopping the sound conversion process\, and directing the music directly at the spores instead. \n\nOnce the sound system stopped producing energy\, the Spacey Bassey would be incredibly vulnerable. There was only ten hours of stored energy left on the ship. Without more energy coming in\, the battle with the spores would have to be won by then. General Thog gritted his teeth\, and gave a yell to his crew.\n\n"These bastard spores hate music. That's why they've been sucking it all up. Let's hit 'em with some phat beats\, boys and girls. Load up the bass\, pump up the volume\, we've got us some aliens to kill!"
