DESCRIPTION:Akousma’s opening evening features two concerts approaching sound space in two very different ways. From Sweden\, BJNilsen overlays electronic materials and field recordings to compose fictive spaces. He will be presenting a world premiere: the new surround version of his work The Short Night. Then\, Theresa Transistor will return to its birthplace\, the Monument-National\, to inhabit it with their sophisticated spatialization work.
