DESCRIPTION:May 8th:\nMY FAVORITE ROBOT http://www.myfavoriterobot.net/\n\nWith over a decade of experience behind the decks and a life long passion for music\, Jared Simms and Voytek Korab have come together to create My Favorite Robot and more recently\, My Favorite Robot Records\, a vision for electronic music in all of its shapes and forms.\n\nBorn of the Montreal club scene of the 90’s\, Jared and Voytek became fast friends. Immersed in a city with a dynamic underground culture they were exposed to a wide variety of sounds that give them the perfect framework. And while their taste can differ\, both share a love of electronic sounds and are seamless in blending their preferences.\n\nTheir partnership started as a tag-team djing venture\, which still remains their first love. Since\, the Robots have played at such venues as Montreal’s legendary Stereo Nightclub and Stereobar as well as the always cutting edge and favorite gem\, Blizzarts. 2008 also saw them play at Peter Gatien’s Circa in Toronto\, the BPM music conference in Mexico\, and the Winter Music Conference in Miami.\n\nIn Late 2008\, My Favorite Robot Records\, a natural progression for the duo\, launches onto the scene with releases by MFR that include original works with remixes and tracks by up and coming local and international artists. The vision is simple. Ignore the norm and broaden the definition of electronic music in order to deliver it to as many music lovers as possible. Already such artist as Pan/tone (cereal/killers)\, Slok (Get Physical/Turbo)\, and James Teej (Connect Four/Rekids) have contributed their talents to the offering and 2009 promises to be an exciting year with an MFR album in the works!\n\n+ + +\n\nModest Goddess by My Favorite Robot\nw/ Remixes from Pan/Tone\, Jonny White\, and Vandermeer\n\nListen Here:\n\nhttps://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/166707/modest_goddess_ep\n\nSome Feedback:\n\nXenia Beliayeva (Datapunk) – “Yes\, Yes I really like this label’s touch!
