DESCRIPTION:13 % Clever Music featuring:\n\nMARK-HENNING (DJ Set) - Canadian Debut\nPHEEK (Live DJ Set)\nOSTRICH (DJ Set)\n\n\nFor the second installment\, 13% is showcasing two artists signed \nto UK / German-based house and techno digital label\, Clever Music.\nThis event will be held on July 18th at 900 Ontario East\, corner of\nSte. André\, Headlining the night will be Clever Music label boss\nMark-Henning and Montreal-based Pheek. Warm up duties\nwill be performed by 13% Resident\, Ostrich. Doors open at 10pm\nand the event will go on till 3am. $12 at the door\, limited places.\n\n13% is proud to announce that this will be Mark-Henning’s Canadian\ndebut appearance. Born in 1977 to English and German parents\, Mark\nhas been rising up as one of the international underground’s true\nplayers. Having recorded for a volley of acclaimed European labels\nlike Trapez\, Freude am Tanzen\, Foundsound\, and Morris Audio\; Mark’s\nsound sits somewhere between house and techno\, with a healthy dose \nof futuristic bleeps\, funk\, darkness\, groove and deepness. Fresh out\nof the studio\, Mark-Henning will be on tour to promote his debut album\n“Jupiter Jive”\, which was released by Soma Recordings on June 16th.\n\nThe night will also feature our Montreal local hero / recording artist\nPheek\, who will be performing a Live DJ Set. Pheek recorded the\n“L'Ordre Des Collisions EP”\, which was Clever Music’s first release in \n2004. The reception of this EP was so grandly received amongst the\nindustry’s peers that Pheek’s track entitled “Magda Had A Little Troll” \ncontinued to ride the wave of its’ popular success two years later\nwhen it was re-released with an assortment of remixes delivered by\nartists such as Mike Shannon\, [a]pendics.shuffle\, and Mark-Henning.
