DESCRIPTION:El Hal Festival 2008: ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL\n12-13-14 Septembre / September 12-13-14\n\nNass El Rahil\, veut dire en langue arabe les personnes ou les gens nomades\, des humains qui se déplacent a fur et a mesure du temps et des circonstances de la nature.\nNass El Rahil peut aussi se traduire en Les Gens du Voyage.\nLe but du festival... le Voyage... tant le voyage musical\, le voyage visuel\, le voyage spirituel ou encore le voyage personnel : THE SKY IS THE LIMIT.\n\nAu sujet de El Hal : El hal traduit littéralement veut dire "état" étant ce moment charnière qui précède la transe et où l'être bascule du conscient vers l'inconscient mystique de la transe libératrice.\nCe mot est utilisé lors de cérémonies traditionnelles marocaines que l'on nome Hadra.\nLa fin de la Hadra se caractérise par la perte de connaissance de plusieurs membres du public\, on dit alors qu’ils vivent un état d’extase\, de transe\, El Hal. A la suite de cette « mort » symbolique\, transitoire et éphémère\, un nouvel individu renaît\, rempli de joie\, de bonheur et de baraka.\n\nLe festival sera présentée sur le site enchanteur et naturel du Domaine des Aigles\, dans la municipalité de Saint-Damien plus précisément au Belvédère. At the beginning of 2001 he decided to establish a new crew with the objective of organizing own electronic music events - this was the beginnings of the Tribal Vision collective.\nTribal Vision has been slowly getting engaged in more and more music-related activities\, focusing mainly on a new wave of progressive and minimal sound. In 2004 Slater started to work on the first Czech progressive label and by the end of the year\, Tribal Vision Records was born and slowly establishing itself as one of the leading labels on the progressive scene. Up to this day Slater is working as the label´s head manager\, A&R and representative DJ\, with a long list of successful CD\, vinyl and digital releases behind him.\nNowadays DJ Slater is playing a fusion of progressive house beats\, electro and prog trance music\, always including a lot of fresh new stuff from label related artists. He already performed at plenty of parties and festivals across the globe\, including most of the European countries as well as gigs in places such as Japan\, Canada\, Australia\, China\, Mexico\, Turkey\, Morocco\, Tunisia or South America\; among them huge international gatherings such as Fusion\, Voov Experience\, Soulclipse\, Antaris Project\, Ozora\, Akasha\, Antiworld or Fullmoon Festival.\nBesides that\, Slater is constantly promoting progressive music in the Czech Republic and co-organizing parties\, festivals and label nights. Recently he has been working also on his own production with several releases and remixes scheduled for the next months.\nPlayed in countries so far: Japan\, Canada\, Australia\, China\, Mexico\, Turkey\, Morocco\, Switzerland\, Portugal\, Sweden\, France\, Netherlands\, United Kingdom\, Denmark\, Germany\, Ireland\, Serbia\, Greece\, Austria\, Hungary\, Bulgaria\, Poland\, Spain\, Tunisia\, Chile\, Croatia\, Macedonia\, Slovakia\, Czech Republic...\n\nFM RADIO GODS live\nAttitude recordings\, Tribal vision Records / Montréal\n\nFM Radio Gods is producer/DJ/musician trio Andrew Hamilton\, Ali and Tao-Nhan Nguyen. The Montreal-natives have come a long way since their debut in 2006 earning a reputation as a dynamic live act with an energetic production style. Their unique take on modern electronica is the result of their blending musical backgrounds. Involving everything from minimal house and glitchy electro\, to trance and techno\, FM’s sound is fresh\, stylish and tailored to those who love to dance.\nThroughout 2006\, the evolution of their live performance defined them as true heavy weight producers. From festival to club and back again\, FM gained a solid reputation as masters of their craft and by 2007\, their combined talents gave birth to a wave a releases on such labels as Echoes\, Iboga\, Coldgroove and Spaceport . It did not take long for original tracks like “Freeflow” to climb past the top 50 on Beatport’s progressive house network.\nWith an undeniable desire for complete artistic freedom\, and 2007 coming to a close\, FM pulled together and kicked off Attitude Recordings. The first EP “Bite the Dust” set the labels tone by combining one dose club-appeal\, and one dose intelligent listening. “We really want Attitude to cross and merge genres” Andrew explains. “We love creating heavy floor smashers but we need to be able to experiment freely without this as a precondition.”\nWhen prompted what 2008 would bring\, Ali said “Something edgy\, different. We want to push the boundaries a little harder. With a fierce will to eschew labels and avoid stereotyping\, Soundshaper draws from his versatility and sidesteps the commonplace that has all too easily overrun the local scene.\nDon’t be beguiled by his crazy mixing style or the shameless ease with which he manipulates machines ! It’s no fluke – all rests on a meticulous arrangement of the harmonies\, an eager anticipation of barely perceived rhythms. Part audio trompe l’oeil\, his chameleonesque mixing outshines traditional cut and paste techniques\, giving rise to a unique\, transcendent sound that readily surpasses the sum of its parts.\nBut what really defines Soundshaper\, besides his technical virtuosity\, is his consummate understanding of the dancefloor.
