En cette occasion\, Seth Troxler nouvelle recrue de la fameuse étiquette Spectral sera des nôtres. Une soirée haute en couleur accompagnée de ce jeune compositeur et DJ originaire de Détroit.  Il a notamment fait ses preuves lors de la dernière année\, pour ses "DJ-set" minimaux mémorables consacrés parmi les plus fameux planchers de dance américains et européens.  De plus\, il affiche à son carnet des productions au sein des étiquettes Beretta Grey\, Esperanza et FXHE.  Il «endisquera» de nouvelles réalisations pour les labels Spectral et Dumb Unit au courant de l'année 2007. Nous vous attendons en grand nombre pour sa première apparition à Montréal. Cependant\, arrivez tôt\, car les places sont limitées et réservées aux premiers arrivés pour le coût de 12 $.\n\n___________________________________________________________\n\n Seth Troxler ( Spectral\, Beretta Grey | Détroit)\n\n Bio : \n\nSeth Troxler moved to Metro Detroit from Kalamazoo\, Michigan at age 15 and immediately broke onto the electronic scene in Detroit.  He promoted parties as Nu-Luv Productions with Berettamusic whom he formed early ties with.  They helped to bring in DJ's like Magda\, B-Nice and Ian Hind to name a few.\n\nSeth has been inspired most by the works of Richie Hawtin\, John Aquaviva\, Derrick Carter and Danny Tenaglia.  Seth's DJ abilities are very eclectic with styles ranging from Jazz & Rare Groove to minimal funk & Percussive Techno.  He continues to protect his style & make it his own using new technologies such as Final Scratch\, Reason and other music production related software.  His receptiveness to new things and new ideas are what have enabled him to keep abreast with emerging sounds and movements...\n\nSeth has been seen playing at Detroit venues such as The Works\, Carbon\, Foran's and more recently Good Night Gracies in Ann Arbor.  Working at Memories and Melodies (record store) in Detroit has given him insight beyond his years because of the intense exposure to a wide range of musical selections\; and most recently has been put in place as the direct buyer of all forms of new 12" house and techno vinyl. \n\nKeep your eyes and ears open for Seth Troxler at upcoming events and collaborations with Berettamusic.\n\nHe has played many outstanding international gigs\, notably Panorama Bar\, Watergate\, Robert Johnson\, Batofar and Wolf + Lamb. He is also a key conceptual force behind America's "Tesh Club" parties with partners in crime Ryan Crosson and Lee Curtiss. His musical influences include the chirping of crickets\, the whirring of space ships\, and the sweet sounds of whistling voodoo magic. However\, Seth draws the majority of his inspiration from Robert Downey Jr.\, and the idea of releasing the shackles that bind Downey so he can finally do heroin in peace. On cold Detroit evenings one can often witness Seth Troxler in his front yard\, situated beside an overly-cumbersome boombox in a nylon tracksuit\, jacking his body to old Dancemania cuts and cooking bbq.
