DESCRIPTION:MONTREAL\, CANADA – November 20th\, 2006 - In Concert Against Violence a charity formed in the wake of the events of September 13th 2006 will hold a benefit concert for two causes: the first being the scholarship fund established in collaboration with the family of Anastasia DeSousa and Dawson College and the second\; Kids Help Phone. The benefit will be held on Thursday\, the 7th of December\, 2006 at Club Metropolis\, located at 59 Saint-Catherine street East. Tickets are priced for students at $15 and $20 for adults. They are on sale as of today through Ticketpro and at Metropolis\, E-Biz\, and for students at Concordia and Dawson.\n\nThe organisers are throwing the event with the view of have something positive emerge from these tragic events.  “It is important to state that Montreal is a tolerant and peaceful community and such actions are aberrations and do not reflect a city that is fairly unaccustomed to gun violence\,” stated Daniel Rafuse\, attorney and Director of In Concert Against Violence.\n\nfeat.
