An eclectic collection of breakbeats and 8-bit synths guaranteed to make your head nod, the album starts off with a bang, bringing in solid beats and synths reminescent of an NES gone haywire with entierly more bass than the little gray box was ever able to produce.

Full of fresh melodies, solid beats, and everything from distorted guitars to the Hardstepper's own roughneck badbwoy Regimental lending some vocals, the album has a little bit of everything for everyone.

Solid production and a deceptively lo-fi sound of the synths guaranteed to make anyone who grew up playing the NES, the Colleco or the Atari feel nostalgic. Managing to keep a balance between crisp, perfect digital sounds and warm, glitchy, dirty analog sounds, your never quite sure what to expect next. Full of layers, there's always more going on than you think you hear at first if you really sit down and listen.

9/10

I'm not one to argue with such a great meta review, being compared to Shatner who released "Has Been" under the supervision of Ben Folds in 2004... but I have to take objection to biting Parker and Stone. The following flyer is of a show I played on December 31st, 2002 (I'm Dac, otherwise known as BW). The show was dubbed "A New Year's Celebration of the Concept Of The People's Republic Of North Korea". Team America was a good guess though, FUCK YEAH! [ www.trotch.com ]

A cute piece of novelty! Deserves a place right next to your classically camp CD curio such as Shatner/Nemoy sing the hits, and that X-mas CD where it's all cats meowing carols. Clearly inspired by recent PRNK fame brought by Parker and Stone's "Team America", this carries the joke a little further with clever noise selections. You can't lose with Kim Jung Il! It's nice to see a music release that doesn't take itself so seriously.
