Description:Viper a.k.a. Ken Finch, is one of the purveyors of the underground dance music culture. This man has fuelled the electronic dance scene by providing a broad mixture of sounds. This musical diversity has allowed him to conquer various corners of the world by working the crowds into a massive, dancing frenzy. Ken has DJ'd everywhere from underground warehouse parties to huge outdoor festivals. He has always been on the cutting-edge of music, continuously experimenting with new sounds; North America's pioneer to Happy Hardcore and Trancecore. One of the most versatile and technically skilled DJs/Producers in the western hemisphere.

Ken started his music career in 1989. Influenced by DJs such as Scott LaRock, Cut Creator and Aladdin, Ken, under the alias S.N.A.F.U. began dropping beats and scratches at local events and house parties.

With the dawn of the rave scene entering Toronto in the early 90's, Ken made a new selection of the music, to Hardcore Techno. With this epiphany, Ken needed a new name, thus Viper was born.

Shortly after, Ken launched a radio program called 'RUSH', on CHRY 105.5fm, Sunday nights 2a.m. to 7a.m. This five hour time slot provided Ken an opportunity to DJ various types of music. Separate names were kept with the separate styles of music; Ken Finch provided House music while the alter ego Viper took care of what is now considered Old Skool Techno.

With the evolution of Hardcore and Jungle from Techno, Viper focused his sets on those genres, being the first DJ to introduce Happy Hardcore to the airwaves in North America. Continuing the radio show for a number of years, Ken also had several guest appearances including some of Toronto's finest DJs.

Ken Finch, (spinning Techno and House) and Viper (providing the Happy Hardcore, Trancecore and Jungle), now performing at raves and clubs across Canada and the United States, decided to take a step to the next level. Organizing his own club nights and raves, booking world renown DJs, and hosting first class events with crowds of over 4000 in attendance.

Going even a level further into the music industry, Ken has currently been focusing his efforts in the studio, producing music. Viper has been busy creating happy hardcore and trancecore while for the house and techno side, Ken Finch is an active member of the group Digital Tribe.

Viper / Ken Finch has a true passion and a carefree torrential spirit for music that sets him apart from the rest. He has allowed his musical evolution to be gradually developed and absorbed. He has earned a rabid following by playing a broad spectrum of styles that has rocked events like no one else can. Viper / Ken Finch is a main player in the underground movement and is about to move far beyond the realm of anything you have ever experienced.
