La musique a toujours fait partie intégrante de la vie de Jean-François Fontaine. Né sur la Rive Sud de Montréal le 15 octobre 1975, il plonge dès son tout jeune âge dans le monde musical avec des leçons de piano classique, pour ensuite jouer de la guitare et de la bass avec des amis. Sa passion est poussée encore plus loin en 98-99, alors qu’il s’intéresse aux tables tournantes. Il se laisse chronologiquement influencé par le deep house (Kevin Yost, Jesper Dahlback, Jojo Flores,…) et le house progressif (Deep Dish, Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, Sultan,…), et plus récemment par un son house plus funky, sexy, et surtout très groovy (Desyn Masiello, Jeff Bennett, Terry Lee Brown, Éloi Brunelle et cie).

En juin 2003, il a le privilège de jouer aux côtés de Deep Dish au Cielo – New York, lors du lancement de leur CD GU025 : Toronto sur Global Underground. Il performe depuis dans plusieurs boîtes de Montréal tels le Circus et le Stéréobar, et fait partie des initiateurs des soirées ‘Sweet Sunday’ au JelloBar, ‘Swank’ au Stéréobar et le traditionnel ‘party des béliers’ au Sonar à Québec. Ambitieux, talentueux et un diplôme en conception sonore en poche, il poursuit une carrière dans le milieu de la production musicale, tout en continuant de partager la musique qu’il aime…
