Benoit a commencé à aimer la musique électonique il y a environ 10 ans. Pour commencer, il visite les bars et découvre le dance music, ensuite au courant de l'année 1998, il va dans son premier rave et tombe en amour avec la foule et l'atmosphère. Autour de l'année 1999, il rencontre Charles (Iznogood) et il l'introduit au monde des djs. Ensuite tout est devenu fou ! En 1999, il fait sa première apparition devant une foule au bar le Nexus. Pour ses 2 premières années, il explore la musique hardcore sous tous les angles et devient une référence dans la métropole. Ensuite, en 2002, il change de style et tombe en amour avec l'électro et Miss Kitten ! Ensuite il se fait connaître très rapidement et joue dans tous les événements électro de Montréal et Québec. En 2004, Mr. Thor tombe en amour avec le breakbeat. Dans plusieurs tracks electro, il y a un peu de breakbeat et c'est ce qu'il appréciait le plus dans la plupart de ses tracks, donc il commence à rechercher d'avantage ce style. In s'inspire de plusieurs artistes tels Plump Djs et Adam Freeland pour ne nommer que ces 2 la. En 2005 Benoit à pris une petite pause et est retourné sur ses tables tournantes pour pratiquer et se refaire une beauté ! 2006 est l'année du breakbeat et elle sera l'année de dj Thor !!

Benoit started loving electronic music about 10 years ago. First it was dance music, then around 1998 he went to his first rave and fell in love with the vibe and the people. Somewhere around 1999 he met his good friend Charles (Iznogood) who introduced him to the world of djing. Then everything just went crazy ! In 1999, he did is first apperance in front of people at a club called Nexus. For the 2 first years of his carreer he played strickly hardcore music and became renound in that scene. Around 2002, he moved to a new kind of music. He fell in love with electro and Miss Kitten ! He then made a name of himself in that style and he managed to play in almost every electro events in Montreal and Quebec. In 2004, Mr. Thor fell in love with breakbeat music. In some electro tracks there's a good breakdown and that was his favorite part of the track for him, so he started to look for more stuff like that. He's inspired by such artists as the Plump Djs and Adam Freeland to name just those 2. In 2005, Ben took a little break and returned on his turntable at home to practice !! Now 2006 is the year of breakbeat music and it's gonna be dj Thor’s year !!
