Indeed, thanks again Seb, Once more you have managed to make me love a DnB monthly. =)

Mayhem really brought it, I know he's suppose to be techie, or neurofunk, but he played some pretty hard, fun tracks and I know all the ladies thank him. It's occasionally hard to find a DnB DJ who plays stuff people actually enjoy dancing to....instead of beating himself off..., but the whole line up managed to keep it in their pants and played a fantastic set! Thanks Tricky Pat for getting the party started, thank you Mayhem for keeping it going!

Also, as a side note, cheap beer was greatly appreciated. I got to get drunk and support a Canadian beer I enjoy the taste of. MMMM.....not to mention I got to support my local DJs as well. Fuck yeah, indeed. Thanks for a good night. =)

So...for some reason I would like to go to this party [ www.rave.ca ] because there's Not much worth going to in this province on that day. I would like to hear some non-montreal small dnb, but I don't have a car or know anyone who has a car and loves dnb enough to go just for 6 hours. I do work on wednesday, the 2nd, but can go in when I want...so as stupid as it sounds, I want to go there in the evening, party it up and drive back after we sober up. Anyone else down? Hahahaa. =)

So...I find it doable to go between most genres, but I find it especially hard to go between breaks/dubstep/somehouse etc. and the faster dnb tempo, I suppose there are a few older style dnb influenced breaks tracks that kind of work, but are still generally slower than most dnb. The hiphop wax I have seems to go with either genre, but not both. So I`m wondering how most of you go between the two speeds with it still sounding natural? Do you work your whole set towards this transition? Because I think I would rather just drop a dnb track in at 33 and speed it up to 45....Anyways, my current life goal is to mix everything into everything else in my bag, or laundry basket rather, so let me know how its worked for you, thanks. =)

All I have to say, is why the fuck is every genre seem to become more like fucking house lately? Why the need to rename something that is clearly the same sound as the last breath of speed garage as bassline house? Will this make it more appealing to the masses, to all the bar stars that already like house? I fucking love speed garage, the shit`s fun and throwing in a few tracks in everyone`s breaks/dubstep set might lighten everyone the fuck up. Hahaha.....But, seriously, even breaks sounds like house lately, with half the tracks going between a broken and 4/4 beat these days, all of the breaks djs have been teaming up with electro-house producers for years, so I just see this bassline house as another example of the disease that has been infecting and killing breakbeats.

But I do loooove speed garage, even by another name, its still as sweet, so thanks for letting me know its coming back David. =)

I couldn't agree with Dee more, thie party managed to restore my faith in the montreal dnb scene, and maybe even a little in humanity? Sorry to all the people who had to deal with the cops or that weren't able to make it to the second venue, as well as the promoters. I imagine it didn't go down exactly how everyone would have liked, but it still managed to be one of the best nights I've had in awhile.

The second location may not have been huge or had great lighting, though thanks to everyone who tried to make it better by sporatically flicking the light switch off and on, but it made up for it, in overall style. To be honest, my favourite part was the carpet, busting out to the upbeats in socks on carpet in sol's house where everyone had to be so close that you likely grinded against multiple people throughout the night was fucking awesome. Anyone who didn't take their shoes off = assholes. Everything was comfy, which is a word I would rarely ascribe to a dnb party, thanks so much Sol for letting us abuse your chill pad, it felt like home. Everyone who was there wanted to have a good time and seemed willing to help to make it happen, I quite enjoyed seeing everyone calculating the best way to move furniture to make a dance floor, not to mention the impromptu singing of backstreet boys when group morale was low. Respect to everyone that showed up to the second party because you all made it brilliant and even more respect to everyone else that made it happen, despite complications. Standing in the freezing ass cold in front of the busted party, I had my doubts, but thanks for being less sketchy than myself, persevering and still making a sweet party. =)

Pre-made sets are definitely the worst of the lot. Even though I don't like when performers don't mix such as ipod battles, ableton whatever...if they are choosing the tracks live, then I have to respect them as selectors. More than half of what makes a Dj good is being able to read the crowd and choosing the proper next track. Mixing is mostly technical and can be learned at least at a basic level by anyone, so even though these douche bags should learn how to mix properly, there are few djs that are capable of mixing sounds better than what producers could make with all the time and resources that are available at home. What is good? I think that depends on whether you want to hear live, maybe slightly clashing beats where someone has spent alot of time learning their tracks and the technical aspects of mixing or if you want to hear perfect tracks that someone has put alot of time into creating. Sure it would be awesome, if someone knew how to mix, mash, beat juggle their own tracks, but as my friend pointed out, how many producers have time to learn how to beat juggle? Or vice-versa? I know some of the worst mixes I've heard have been from big time producers, Deekline & Wizard especially. Djs and producers are different things, there are even different types of djs, whether they are more technical or club-like, but they each provide something different. And even though most djs could easily be club djs, I know I wouldn't want to be one. A dj is a performer, even if a dj doesn't mix that well, I get pretty excited if he/she is really into what they are spinning.

Everyone has an idea of what is more respectful when it comes to music....but in the end some kid that knows nothing about the structure of music, but has a good track selection might play a better crowd than some guy who has spent his whole life playing with vinyl. Are the people brocking out to the kid stupid? I might say yes, but part of the point of a dj is to provide a good time, so what is good is completely subjective and everyone needs to start worrying about what they are doing instead of insulting the guy beside him.

All that being said, producers and djs should both be paid for their services, but it is mostly up to djs to pay producers because most people aren't picking up the music that producers are putting out. But at the same time, there's plenty of djs that don't get paid for their sets, so you can't blame them for wanting to play a track out without paying the royalties. Not to mention the fact that its hard to find the stuff you want on vinyl alot of the time and websites like beatport aren't useful for all genres, there isn't always a way to pay the producer even if you would like to. There's not an easy solution, but I don't think discrediting other people's work, style etc. is a good way to start getting djs and producers the credit and money they do deserve.

Okay, so I wore out my first needle today, I'm starting to realise this is quite an expensive enterprise!!! But, I wore it all the way down, until the pimple was completely flat,....and apparently this is horrible because the needle gets sharper before it gets duller. My poor vinyl.

The thing is, I don't exactly have the best sound system, so I didn't notice distortion of any sort...and I don't own a microscope, so how is it that everyone knows when to change their needles? Shouldn't I be able to tell in my headphones?

I read something else about scratching, it said I should set my anti-skating to 0, does anyone actually do this?

I also read some statistic that says you get about 200 plays out of each record and I'm suddenly scared because....noone ever showed me how to set up needles, I just read the instructions. I understand the bit about balancing the tone arm properly without the needle and then turning it so much for the weight of the needle. I usually increase and decrease the weight at the opposite end of the tonearm depending on whether the needle is picking up dust or jumping grooves. I guess I should redo it all, but is there maybe something I missed?

I apologize in advance for the rather boring questions, but everyone I know likes guitars better.

Well, perhaps its better that I didn't make it out then. At least I did my homework.

I was really looking forward to it too, I never get to see beat juggling in real life, only in usually shitty quality videos on the interwebs. But for some unknown reason, I thought that it was happening today instead of yesterday, so despite the sucky outcome, you should throw another one that I can actually show up to this time. What was so bad about it anyway?

Sweet, so to develop my finger dexterity and twitch muscle fibres, all I have to do is get myself off more?

Word. I'll be a world class dj in no time.

On a more educational, if less technical, note....I've been having trouble coming up with the best way to sort my bag. I've heard of plenty of ways, like categorizing by genre, sound, artist, label etc... But really all of these categorizations seem limiting, I want to be able to mix those rare tracks that surprisingly somehow mesh really well, but I can't just put those tracks in order...otherwise I would be playing the same set constantly. So, how do you keep them all straight in your head? do you just know everyone of your tracks that well? I mean....including stuff on harddrives, thats possibly hundreds if not thousands of names, so how do you get blazed and spin? Seriously? Right now, its so bad, I have a paper taped to the wall beside my tables where I write down my good mixes. I suppose I'm a pretty green dj and maybe I will someday know every one of my tracks names/labels, but in the meantime, I would appreciate some advice on how to start this categorizing business. Thanks. =) Maybe I should buy stickers?

I don't know, personally I would trust some crazy asian making my drugs more than any other white fuck-tard reject, at least he can probably do math properly.

But more to the point, who ever asked the question before about oding...I'm not entirely positive about intravenous, but I know when concerning insufflating, its impossible to od, yes sure you will k-hole and not be able to walk/eat/function etc. But according to dentists and orthodontists reports(they used it, instead of putting a patient under entirely) ketamine creates a block in your mind, but when you up the dosage it merely increases the length of the block as opposed to making it larger. You also have to keep in mind that what makes ketamine unique is that its one of the few anaesthetics where your respiratory system supports itself, so really when you snort too much K up your nose, you're just going for a pretty lengthy, if somewhat incapaciatated ride, but you won't die. The world would never allow so many of you haters to be happy, that's just against the nature of things. What most of you also fail to realise is ketamine is still used on children in hospitals right fucking now!! Adults just have no imagination and can't deal with the dissociative effect, I may see a connection...*looks around* Speaking of you haters, how many other drugs are there that when consumed alone are that safe? The worst thing about K are the K pains and you only get that when you stop doing it and I can see a solution there as well. Furthermore, anyone who has a problem with K seems to have a problem with it because of what it did to someone they know, well that's retarded, you can't hate a drug for the effect you have seen it have on some people. Everyone is different and handles their shit different, so realise your friends had problems in the first place. I'm annoyed with how much every hates on K, maybe if you had a meth problem in this city I would understand but until then stop being such a pussy, K doesn't have near the same destruction as that drug, so take a little perspective and shut up. Grr...=)

Basically I just mix as many drugs as possible, so when I come to I don't know which one I liked so much. That being said, mixing alcohol with anything can be a rather sketchy adventure, so just mix and match everything else, thats my best advice.

And maybe you are wicked smart and will make the greatest engineer that ever lived. But noone can understand a god damned word of what you are saying. Now being intelligent is half the battle, but the other half is being able to communicate your great ideas. So perhaps you could start using full on sentences, preferably subject-predicate ones, maybe you could even throw in some transition words and punctuation for good measure. See, dear cutterhead, not everyone has the same brilliant train of thought you were gifted with and some of us need a little more obvious line of logic, as we cannot peer directly into your head. I've taken cal 1, 2 & 3! as well as two linear algebra courses, an ordinary differential equations course as well as stats which doesn't really count as a math course.

But oddly enough, I still have the over-riding desire to be a pompous arrogant asshole who posts threads on the most pointless shit ever, just to make himself feel smarter. Anyone who's taken a 2nd year level cegep cal course would know limits, so apparently you're one of the few people on here who has. Wow. Want a cookie? Everyone knows about something and probably most of the people on here know about something more interesting than a introductory cal course.

It would be one thing if you wanted to inspire people to "think out of the box", but by posting something you learned in school and telling everyone they are stupid because its "basic math", you're just a fucking dickhead. Its not like you had an original thought, all of your information is what they tell you in school, so you can't even guarantee that you understand it better than anyone else on here. So, good job man, you can regurgitate a text book, mission accomplished. Who the fuck can grasp infinity comfortably, anyways? There is nothing in our world even close to that nature.

Its true there are interesting math theorems, but if you really are interested in math, I don't think you would find limits particularly interesting as there are definitely better things to think about. But maybe you just like reminiscing about the good ol' days of cal 2, a time when you had better things to do than start a thread about limits on a raver page.

God, you're a tool.

This is also what they tell you in school:

No, you cannot have a number bigger than infinity because infinity never stops growing, so even if you added 89543859489438590859034859430859358935 etc. to infinity it would not make any difference to the overall number because the sum of infinity is so great. It does not even matter where the infinity begins, one infinity could even start at 89543859489438590859034859430859358935 and the other at 0 but the difference between the infinities would just get smaller as the numbers grew to where the difference would be infinitesimal, it wouldn't matter that the one number was 89543859489438590859034859430859358935 bigger than the other, it would be meaningless compared to the massive sum of infinity, so in the end, essentially, they would be the same number.

Crack I cannot speak from personal experience,
but coke is just for lame, insecure people who's greatest high is to feel for once in their life that they are cool and socially accepted by all. The best thing about it is you can do it at a party the night before and still go to work the next morning, but as far as I'm concerned that isn't really a good reason to do a drug. You need mad lines of it to feel anything and then everyone just fiends out for it and wishes they didn't give that line to their friend. I guess you can spend hundreds of dollars for that taste of status, but I just regard you as sad.

If you want to do a stimulant, don't beat it around the bush kids, just snort some meth, it'll get you higher, last longer, its cheaper, and your coke is already laced with the shit anyways cause I bet your dealer knows that meth's cheaper too. Hahahaha....but whatever helps you sleep at night. And I don't really care about meth being made from shit from under the sink, etc etc...because the end product doesn't have to exhibit the same qualities as the reactant, since the very definition of a chemical reaction is to convert reactants to products, generally irreversibly. I agree its a dirtier drug in general and I don't suggest that anyone actually goes out and snorts or especially smokes meth, I can guarantee it will still your soul. But, I honestly don't see what the big deal about coke is, I would like to be fucked up when I do drugs, thus you should all spend hundreds of dollars on K/acid instead. But if you are more comfortable with being addicted to coke than to meth, well I guess its worth getting ripped off, it just seems illogical and rather deceptive, can you really defend that one stimulant is better than another? because I've known some pretty, dirty-ass, desperate, coke-whores.

Cheers kids. =)

Well, props to all the people that didn't respond like bitter assholes.
Even more props to the people that didn't respond at all.

It is a bit random to post something about a rave history month at the end of february, 2007. Its a bit late and a bit cold and everyone is just a bit too much of an asshat. Still, its nice to see there are some kids that want to be a constructive force within the scene, which makes the rest of you cunt rags for shitting on him. I understand if you don't give a flying fuck about it being "rave history" month or whatever, because the scene did peak quite a few years back.... But why take the time to actively bash it?

I still wish the best for everyone else in the scene, I want people to enjoy it as much as I did. Whether you like to admit or not, newbies keep the scene going, fresh blood. If we all become jaded and bitter and said "fuck everything to do with the scene", who would keep coming to your parties?

You don't have to support everything within the scene, but at least have the courtesy to not disrespect it blatantly. It's pretty fucking retarded, not to mention against your self-interest to insult the scene that you have bothered to keep yourself part of. Most of you, I'm sure by now could have pulled yourself out of this hole and dissociated yourself from it entirely, so why haven't you?

Exactly.......even if you are only in it for the spinning, every dj needs a crowd...In the end, you're only making yourselves look like immature jaded little bitches that are really upset about the fact they can no longer run around and rub vapo-rub on other peoples' backs.

Cheers, kids.

He did go on to talk about mixing tracks with complimentary keys, which is something else entirely,
but I've always thought the word phasing referred to when the bass "jumps around" when you mix tracks in the same key, especially when you are playing with two of the same vinyls. Phasing, in this sense at least, is caused by interference.

I'm sure you already sorted it out by now...
but the reason you found discrepancies between sites regarding phasing is because when two waves with the same frequency collide, they can either...

1) join and have double the amplitude of the original wave, also known as constructive interference,
which means the sound will be twice as loud.

2)or they can collide perfectly so they cancel each other out, where the crest of one wave ends up on top of the trough of the other wave, and as a result you don't hear anything. This is destructive interference.

I suppose if you have 2 of the same vinyls you could do this on purpose...but its more likely that you would just get a combination of the two and probably wouldn't sound that great. The loudness(amplitude) would have to be the exact same as well, not only the pitch, for all of the noise to cancel. This is pretty much all useless theory though...unless you need to pass physics.

Is that the one with Q-bert? I downloaded it but I haven't had time to watch it. I find that torrents don't have alot of stuff I'm looking for, so I use something called eMule, which takes a wickid long time, but it has stuff I actually want, like programs and sometimes obscure vinyls that people uploaded.
Its still p2p, but it doesn't have the cracked-out efficiency algorithm that bit torrents have. There's also parts on youtube, if you feel up to it.

I can't really say I've eaten a whole lot other than pills when I'm twacked on K...
If you eat things with sugar, that'll usually bring you out of your trip though...it speeds up your metabolism.
Actually my first K-hole ever, this bitch of a girl fed me a big spoonful of fucking sugar, just pure crystalline sugar, anyways, the worst part was that when I came out of it I had to act all thankful and shit, like she was some good samaritan. I like my K-holes!!!!
Take home lesson: Don't eat big spoonfuls of sugar....ever.

I used to really enjoy reading and learning from this thread....
Some of your ideas on spinning....well to say the very least, I would never think of them, so if you could all show how talented/intelligent you are by talking about music, then I would be alot happier and that's all that matters.

Thanks kids. =)

I had a wickid awesome time at the party, I somehow ended up bringing 6 newbies to the party, I'm such a productive rave mom, but they all ended up having a good time, so props to the iDJ crew. I particularly dug the set later in the night...around 4-6, the one with all the stratching, that was sick. Sorry for my ignorance in not knowing the names, but I was a tard, well a k-tard to be exact and didn't really think of looking at the time slots posted all over the fucking walls.....at the time. haha. It would be sweet if someone would inform though. I was still dancing more than most, so noone better give me that shit about K killing the scene, deakfunk's a fucking tard. All in all, a sweet little party, thanks kids. =)

I'm not saying that I don't want to buy techs...and if I can used ones for $500 than I will definitely buy them. I know they are the standard and the most likely to hold their value. Apparently everyone thinks I shouldn't settle for less, okay, okay I'll fucking hold out!!!! I just need something soon, I don't have friends here where I can go spin at their houses, all my friends are science/engineering kids, its pretty sad.

$2500?? honestly? That's why I'm not buying new techs, I'm not prepared to invest that much yet. I was hoping about half of that...I'm still in school and need to eat. Mind you speed is cheaper than food. I have needles already and I was thinking of buying a vestax mixer, I've never really liked stanton tables, but maybe their mixers are better.

However, I am still no closer to tables....

Hey, I'm really hoping someone can help me, there seems to be a lot of djs on here...

So I finally have enough money to buy tables, mixer, needles, etc. and of course want all of it right now. The problem is I don't think its worth it at this point to go buy techs or at least not new ones. I don't know a whole lot of djs here in montreal, but if anyone is selling used decks, I would love to take them off of your hands. I was hoping for something like numark tt500s, or something of equal torque, durability, interchangable tone arms, etc. *crosses fingers*. I suppose thats really hoping, I'm not sure why someone would sell working 500s, but maybe one of you has given up on vinyl. I just want something precise enough that when I train wreck, its my fault, not the table going off pitch. A motor that responds would be nice too. Anyways, any advice/help would be greatly appreciated, even a reliable website that ships to Canada. I neeeeeeeeed to play with my vinyl.

If you can help me, you will be my favourite person forever. =)
Thanks in advance.

*sigh* I call everyone kid, I call my best friends kids...so please don't take offence to that of all things.
Okay, if you don't have feelings towards Russia/communism/marxism/stalin than why would you feel the desire to wear a Russian flag? No less with all of the men that have lended to their faces to that movement/idea?
I suppose I assumed that you cared based on this fact and how quickly you defended Catherine the Great, empress of Russia. But I still think its a valid assumption.
I also suppose it was inappropriate of me to get offended when you told me to "learn my history" because apparently you clearly meant it as constructive criticism and really just want me to educate myself so I am no longer a "fucking idiot". It's a consolation to me that there are people on these threads that want to raise the overall level of education, not just fuck around and use any opportunity to insult people when they are wrong.
I'm sorry that I inaccurately pegged you as one of those people.

Have a good day, kid.

And its vice-versa as well, just because its synthetic, doesn't mean its toxic.
But yeah one could put a chemical pesticide on weed, but how much produce at the local supermarket has pest/insecticides sprayed on them? and all we do is rinse them with water, as if that helps!!
It doesn't seem to affect the general populace's health
considerably. (and it it does, well thats as easy fix to a complicated hopeless problem)
So I don't see what one really has to worry about regarding pesticides, they only way you are pesticide free is if you grow all your own vegetables anyways and I somehow doubt most of us have access to such a facility in Montreal.
I truly don't believe the conditions that the plant is grown in could affect the smoker so much. Pesticides are used because they are small portions of a substance that is lethal to the pest, not to humans. Poison really depends on the quantity, for example, chlorine gas is fatal to humans yet we use it to kill the micro-organisms in our drinking water and make it safe to drink. Oxygen, since its a free radical can be a fatal oxidizing agent to alot of anaerobic organisms. Ethanol(alcohol) or oxalic acid in rhubarb/spinach can kill you if you eat 10-20 pounds of it. All these things in small doses are perfectly safe and sometimes overall beneficial to the human body, so I really wouldn't worry about the pesticides growers use because its cannot going to affect your buzz/health at so low a concentration.

The most important thing is the strain of plant....and the love that goes into of course. =)

I'd very much like to get my cat high on his respective version of MDMA. Valerian you say? Hmm..I'll have to research it.

As for Catherine the Great, I am well aware that her reputation comes from the fact she had an unusually strong sex drive for the time and its just hard for any women to be a competent/horny/(typical) ruler and not have ridic rumours such as her dying fucking a horse spring up all over history.
But its amusing, man, my mother is a history prof and has taught me more than I damn need to know about Russsia, its her favourite country. I don't need someone who has stalin represented in the forefront of their avatar to tell me about Russian history.
How dare you wear the russian flag with a picture of a person who is responsible for genocide and between 10-20 million deaths.... and school me on the events of history.
Even if you don't agree with the fact the Stalin is as bad as Hitler, the fact that people have to argue in amademic papers why he is better than the man who killed almost the entire race of jews, makes him horrible.
Not only did he kill millions of people, he killed millions of his OWN citizens.
The people that suffered greatest were the comrades of the soviet union.
They are the ones who sacrificed to try the meet the goals of the 5 year plans.
Yet, I am sure you find wearing the symbol of Russia and communism amusing, so fucking lighten up Trey, its not as if you are the only one who loves Russia in the city on Montreal.

Peace, kids. =)

Well, I'm glad I make sense to someone....even if not to myself all the times.
Why a chihuahua? I hate those god damn things.
My cat could beat that thing up, everytime I see a person with a small dog, I want to say get a real dog.
But I guess I can draw a comparison between a chihuahua and a squirrel, they are both annoying, twitchy, chirpy hairy orange/brown things.
Maybe squirrels would only take orders from and respect their own kind. They have standards, obviously.

But damn it, I have an 8:30 chemistry class and I'm really trying to go, I am suddenly realizing finals are next month and the catching up I had to do for midterms almost killed me. So I am going to bed. I will save my animals on drugs thoughts for tomorrow.

Well, maybe if the hummingbird had armoured wings, which is a pretty fucking sweet concept.
Maybe we should have an amoured animal meth army.
They could be part of our rave army.

I've often thought of having a rave army..... *laughs at herself*
See, the plan is to have subliminal messaging in the music...
And we have poi ninjas, they're skilled right?
And then the liquid assassins cause they blend into walls and shit.
I could go on, but it just gets worse from here.

Yeah, I have no excuse....

Yeah, dude, squirrels have some messed up nervous system that makes them all twitchy when they are sober, it would be 10 times worse when they were sketchy.
They'd be even jerkier, it could be a anti-drug commercial I swear.

Yeah, I've heard koala bears are viscious....
There are women that like to fuck horse dick, Catherine the Great was one of many and I'm sure the rest of the willing hang out at Eaton Centre anyways.
Orgies do seem to work better when one is naked....and E is a anti-histamine, so the allergies would be no problem.
I don't see why these scenarios aren't plausible...
The filming of it, on the other hand....with groups like PETA with spokespersons like Pamela Anderson, one just can't be too careful when drugging up their favourite animals. I don't see what the big deal is, I'd be happy if someone gave me drugs for free just to film how ridiculous I am when I'm high. If its okay for me, its definitely good enough for innocent, unsuscepting animals.

I suppose drunk monkeys would be pretty funny, but I always see them as being sketchy, loud, little muthafuckers cause not only do they pick at themselves, they pick at other monkeys too. It would be fair representation of the scene if I saw a bunch of sketchy ravers all in a row picking at each other. I mean thats what they do anyways, just behind closed doors.

As for the cheetah on meth, I think someone should make a rhyme or some shit about that:
How much Crystal could a Cheetah Cook? If a Cheetah could cook crystal?

What about a camouflaged animal on acid? Would they like see shapes in their fur and sketch out and run away and shit?

Or what about a Hippo on PCP? That would fuck everything up.
Or an Elephant on GHB? I think it might have trouble manouvering that trunk.

But, Truly man, you must be bored. =P

What, no it doesn't.
First of all, all fertilzers are chemicals, they are composed of the nutrients also known as chemicals a healthy plant needs to grow such as P, K, N, Ca, S, Mg, etc.
Perhaps instead you meant that synthetic, meaning man-made fertilzers = modified weed, but humans cannot create new elements, it just means that the fertilzer contains controlled concentrations of an easily ionized compound of whatever nutrient is needed for healthy plant growth. Even so, despite this man-made mixture, it does not affect the way the plant naturally processes the nutrients. I mean think about it, even if A plant has access to a nutrient, if it doesn't normally use the nutrient, why would it because its there? The unprocessed chemical would just go through the plants xylem system, much like fibre goes through our digestive system. Its possible that the plant might use the chemical if it can be broken down and then used in metabolic functions and many organic compunds are broken down into sugars.
But, the addition of synthetic fertilizers is not going to grow a bud that has a modified chemical composition, its just going to affect the growth rate and yield. I suppose fertilizers could create yields higher than those found in nature, but it isn't going to make the plant produce more THC or anything of the like.

And I couldn't agree more about how its too god damn expensive to lace weed with anything other than weed.....but there is always hairspray. Back in one of the cities in my home province, dealers used to weigh down their weed with hairspray....now that shit gives you a headache.

Later, kids. =P
