Yes, it was logically inconsistent. How can none of my friends do after hours, and yet at the same time, some of them do. Inless I didnt consider the latter my friends, and i referred to them as "the ones", since they are human beings none the less. bahaha..

Sometimes, I just write and not let the inner critic hamper my thoughts. Lol, I wonder what would have been an illogical sentence for you, as opposed to a VERY illogical sentence.

I appreciate your attention to form and structure in word though.. now come to circus?

Upon more reflection, I'm not sure that going with some random person off here is preferable to going alone. Such is life..

None of my friends do after hours, and the only ones that do, are not available...

So hence my public outreach program (so sad)... I have guestlist... Just don't want to go alone, but not wanting to be inseperable from the person im with either..

So if you are interested, private message me.. or public, all the same..

I'm going to dance my heart out, and dance my heart i will..

I saw this porn the other day called "my first MILF" and the plot was about older women who go to the beach and proposition younger girls to become non-pornographic models so that they can get paid for it. Anyway, once they got to the home of the older woman, to do a photo shoot, the girls were then convinced or so the story goes apparently to end up doing sexual things with the girls, cunnilingus, get banged with a dildo etc.

Even though, I doubt the girls were actually tricked as portrayed in the movie, the fact that someone may get off on the idea is part of what I mean when I say perversion.

Well, I do believe that we are part animals, however like you mentioned we have the capacity to reason, amongst other things, that differentiates us from other animals. Ideally, I try not to deny my reason its full expansion. Thus when I think of sex, and penetration, I reason that it is inextricably linked to reproducing and as such since I do want to have a child, I reason that I ought not to have sex. For me, that is part of being responsible. I, also, ideally, want to stay away from artificial means as a means to aid me in this or any other similar situation so that includes birth control pills, IUD etc. I reason that these things tamper or harm the body and it is eternally better to rely on self-control, the capacities that we have that are germane to our species so as to help me as well as my species progress.

Since in order to learn or to reason correctly, somehow someone has to have treaded a certain path for us to witness cause and effect relationships. In that way, it MIGHT be said that we start out “perverted” in a ignorant way, and we may even regress- not learn from our mistakes (repeatedly?). Ultimately, though we need to progess and that means to exercise self-control, to learn to use our capacity to reason for good ends, to use our ability of language to overcome things and understand eachother etc. That latter would be a way to transcend perversion, to learn from it, to progress, to tend to that which is healthy, to excercise our capacity to reason, to use language, etc.

.. well I will start with that and possibly add more later..

Our health care system obviously has room for an improvement. But will we allow for those improvements has yet to be experienced, I guess.

I think IT IS becoming too big for its own good. Going to the doctor or going to the hospital has become practically the norm and it really ought not to be in some ways. It's almost as though we are existing to make hospitals exist as though that was a human beings purpose. As a city, a country, the human species most importantly, we ought to be investing in those things that really have a sustainable, lasting and absolutely good impact on our healths (lowering pollution levels even more, less medication, more natural means of achieving ends . Our health care system has loss 'a bit' it's direction, there's way too much pharmacuticals, life prolonging etc--

Also, it's always preferable to be your own doctor, not in the sense of being able to write yourself sick notes whenever you want, but not to be at the mercy of someone else seeming to know you better than you. We ought to all be educated on listening to our bodies and knowing what's good and not for ourselves. Part of being healthy is not relying on experts but being an expert youself/

morphine: it's true they are not advertised as cures and more as a preventative measures. I think what I was trying to say was that too often we focus on 'artificial' (the pill, for example, to achieve certain results. Ideally, we ought to prefer and support more natural means, in this case, I suppose it would be self-control amongst other things. I know it might sound really crazy or too ideal or not feasible. But birth control for example, for the small benefit of preventing a supposed unwanted pregnancy can necessarily lead to other bodily complications for the species (hormonal imbalances, and sterility, for example).

I read some excellent research on the subject of birth control. I will try and find the name of the article so I can pass it on. But it discussed how pharmaceutical companies tested their products, sometimes, offering money to the participants as a reward. Often, the pill was tested in areas that were impoverished, where people very much needed money, or where there was alot of coke addicts, for example. They also discussed the notion of wether or not people, in general, were actually autonomous or responsible to truly making an informed decision or not to take something like birth control.

scotty P: I don't know if it's just me but the sentence you wrote above makes me think that maybe you may think that if someone wouldn't want condoms to be given out for free in poor coutries that that would make them a religious fundamentalist.. that's not what you are saying right?

we should give condoms for free in poor countries its the least we could do. In the meantime, we ought to be working on more sustainable and durable system changes that would have at its effect a decrease of people having sex, when it really isn't feasible, not that that is the only thing we should have in view. Because certainly the facct that there are so many people who's basic needs aren't even fulfilled does pose a big problem in itself,

When you live in impoverished circumstances, and have very little access to very much of anything, and your life is generally miserable, no matter how strong you are-- it's hard to deny yourself the pleasure of sex. You can have sex and it is free, believe it ot not;P Anyway, 'everyone can know' the extent that the environment one lives in can impact the decisions one makes. In these environmental conditions that we all live in generally, it is very difficult to abstain from sex.

I don't subscribe to the motto by " any means available". Do you? In other words, though I see the utility of the pill and condoms, all I am saying is that it sure the fuck wont cure aids, or the transmission of VD's, or even the over-population problem. In fact, I'm pretty sure though it is not 100 % proven that the pill will contribute to other undesirable effects possibly sterility, and hormone imbalance related problems. And the condom, well, I can only imagine.

But anyway, alot of the experts, the non religious fundamentalist experts of the western and richest coutries in the world, told me it was okay to use the pill and the condom and I believed them.

Well, if now you ever are convinced in your mind that you "need to fight", and you are thus overcome by the impulse, and/or a dash of ignorance, and/or stupidity, please offer me up as a sacrifice lol. I enjoy being picked on, called names, and feeling misundersttood. Don't you? WE need not feel, if we don't want to reason things out.

But honestly, it is so necessary and absolutely important and imperative that we communicate with one another (in a healthy fashion)-- the fate and progress of the human species depends upon it. Obviously to reach that point, we need to assimilate the past, a history that has been frought with violence and fighting, and learn from one's own or/and eachother's mistakes.

Thus to continue fighting, instead of using language to communicate, when the option is available to us as a speccies it can be as SCOTTYP said a weapon of mass destruction. We need to learn how to communicate using language, and reason, not uniquely by killing eachother and fighting with eachother. But rather putting a large emphasis on communication, and understanding the use of language, to practice, instead of practicing only the art of quarelling, fighting, disagreeing for nothing etc.

Violence, and fighting

such a sorta long but pertinente text I wrote below.

alcohol could be said to have been worse on the body (species because of how long it has been around, how long it has been consumed.) I know I will have to clarify. There has been for sure way more generations of alcohol use and abuse then there has been with the other substances named. Thus, alcohol's total damage effects is necessarily larger than the other drugs I would think. In that way, perhaps then and only then, could we honestly and accurately say that alcohol is worse or rather has produced the most damage thus far.

I tend to disagree that alcohol in and of itself is worse than the other drugs you mentioned. I imagine that if as many people had consumed, for a similar period of time, mush or speed as mcuh as alcohol that the effects/consequences would be comparable or even more deleterious. I think.

In any event all drugs tend to share some things in common. They tend to illicit in the user certain functions that the body can usually produce naturally except in the case of one using drugs one can perform certain functions via manipulation with the use of drugs. Drugs tend to act as a remote control to inhibit or release certain chemicals in the brain. Basically, the drugs pretend to be your brain in a sense or rather start to modify that which is otherwise supposed to be controlled necessarily by the intricate processes that are rooted in a person at a genetic level.

The thought perplexes me about the gravity of using drugs and frankly in many ways I am frightened of the potential damaging effects. I struggle to completely eliminate drugs from my life. They say every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Well, when I take E, for instance, and dance for hours, more so at one time than I could if I wasn't on the drug. So, it's almost as if temporarily I have a different body. IT's perplexing and then the effect of the drug nullifies any physical pain that I may be feeling while under the effect of the drug. I am concerned that my pain receptors are being damaged that somehow there is a cut off between my brain and a particular pain in my body.
What else.. scary shizznit -- here the drugs may modify the amount of hormone that can be released, this decision of how mcuh hormone should be released at any given time is usually and naturally dependent upon one's environement, and genetics. But the drug out of nowhere, manipulates the hormone and I fear that my own body/brain will have out of the ordinary difficulties in regulating this hormone. Thus leaving the hormonal gland impotent or producing too much of something--

The other thing that trips me out to the max is that I can produce amazingly, uncanny, dance choreographies, while high on E, for example, and flow so well to the music that you could practically beccome convinced that I had heard a song and danced to it many times, when really it was my first time. My greatest fear is that I think the drug might be using up my grey matter, allowing me to access my potential but yet destroying it at the same time.

lol... sad but there is some truth in that.

I like what you said it really relates to my feelings on certain things.
For example, I have questioned myself on the concept of death and have reached the conclusion that perhaps, us human beings can eventually transcend death at which point we would not be the same type of beings. I am not sure.
In any event, I differentiate between having a job and working. Everyone needs to work, but a job is what one takes out of circumstance, out of convience, to make money. I could define it more but I will leave it at that.

I notice that if there is one thing that JOBS tend to have in common is that either the final product of the company is toxic, or polluting in the some way.
OR the environment, working conditions at the job, are often damaging to the eyes, ears, skin, and/or even sense of touch. For example, I work in front of a computer screen all day, taking calls pretty much non-stop, the sound of those calls are projeccted into one ear. The job is detrimental to my senses, not to mention that I am encouraging people to use things they don't need.

LiiLii: I don't know what you were thinking when you wrote your post above but that is what it resonates within me.

Humans progressing would give us a "future" . It's nice to have babies, and can be necessary to the survival of our species. However, currently we might even say that the planet is even overpopulated. The more the people on the planet, sometimes, if not often the more complex and difficult to manage, to govern. However, i think probably equally important, as preserving our ability to reproduce ..
and actually alien zed I am going to use your sentence but substitute it with some other words.

So you said "one way or another, as a species, we need to reproduce, and if you want to be a valuable member of that species, you either have make it easier for others to reproduce or do it yourself."

sounds like something the state taught me or conditioned me to think. More appropriately, I might say that to be a valuable member of the species, we ought to make each and everyone's life work, to build a system that would fulfill everyone's real needs (sex not really included, inless it is for reproduction) basic, and psychological ones.

Instead of indulging in all of our perverted fantasies ( I know I have some) or not so perverted ones, and replaying the 'mantra' (the title of the post: let's have sex already- we can use that sexual energy and use it to support other creative endeavours.

But I still say that in a world where everything appears to have a price, where there is injustice going on everyday, and sex is generally free, pleasurable and drug-like, not to mention other social factors which make it so that we crave, and seek, and make of ourselves sexualized images---
What I am trying to say is that it's difficult to abstain from sex very much due to the environemental constraints we live in and though I find sex pleasurable, and do sexual things for pleasure, I still ideally, think I should at the very least, not have sex, penis in vagina, since I don't want to get pregnant. I'd prefer not to get comfortable using birth control ( or rather stunt reproduction long term pills) or condoms.. it just ain't natural..
anyways,, this is getting long but important nevertheless..

I agree as aerial raver suggested that ideally instead of complaining about anything really, it is always preferable to commit oneself to a positive action. Like doing drugs. That's supposed to be a joke, but it's not funny, since we too often? use that means to cope. So many of us need to apply more of that, less complaining, more helping. If only our lives did not seem to play like a broken record.

But back to christmas, the telling of children that things exists when they don't-- the convincing societal illusion that is conjured to make unsuspeccting, trusting, children who's capacity to reason is in development believe in something not real. The major argument or the most popular argument is probably that it brings so-called joy to children, but there are plenty of real and natural things that could bring joy to children, without having them live and believe a lie, falsehood, a fairy tale.

Who knows, I guess, if we'd be better off not hoaxing our children into believing something that is not real. However, since I am in doubt and feel that a child's growth could be better served otherwise. I feel that I'd rather not make my child, if I have one, believe in something false and grandiose. Besides, it is really not necessary. It's not like it is the only thing that could and would ever make a child happy.

I just think that we should question and think twice about this tradition and the implications of it- see it from other perspectives. I don't remember feeling all that betrayed or lied to when I found out santa was not real but maybe I should have. There's much more to life than the pleasurable sensations.
