| Info: | ========================= QUAKE3 SERVER: 64.9.12.156 : 29161 ========================= We'll get started at 8pm as planned originally, till then play around with connecting Okay folks, the party is this coming sunday so i thought i'd reiterate all the important shit for people not willing to dig through 20 pages of blab! The info: We've got tons of gamers on XVI but we never play together. Well it's time to change that with the first of many XVI Fragfests. This is open for all XVIers and their close friends, but please don't invite your own clans into this. We will be providing dedicated cracked servers to run Battlefield 1942 and Quake 3. These servers will go up a week before the actual event to allow you the chance to make sure you can connect and possibly so people can have a little practice as well. If this event goes well, we'll be doing a lot more of these, and we'll be rotating in many other games that you might like to play. For this event though we're sticking with the main two, please don't try and splinter off from this event and get more game servers going. The idea is to have 2 servers packed with players for the entire night, not 10 with 5 on each. Much more info, technical info etc to be added here so keep your eyes peeled. If you have any questions or would like to help organize this, please message me (Doc Savage) and we'll sort stuff out. The Games: Battlefield 1942 This award winning team-based WW2 game. Two teams of 15 will square off against eachother in historic levels based on battlefields across Europe, Africa and the Pacific. Play as one of 5 classes of soldier, all with the ability to pilot many different kinds of tanks, vehicles, planes and ships! This is a very easy game to get the hang of, and has only moderate system requirements.
