Cheney Lansard
In the mid '90s Cheney Lansard schooled the living hell out of a legion of budding techno DJs. He unleashed dominating sets at many of the Panic parties and was an integral part of the Housequake crew that set the standard for how club nights should be done. His passion for techno was contagious and his influence shows in just about everyone in Winnipeg who steps up to the decks with a crate of techno.

Harry Chan
In Chicago people take their house music seriously and they talk about great DJs in hushed tones. In Winnipeg, Harry Chan is one of the few that ever inspired or earned such reverence.. A full decade before people started talking about mash-ups, he was casually stunning crowds by putting together mixes that no one else could have imagined. Innovation never sounded so smooth. A Winnipeg legend and a world class talent.

Fanny [sublight, mirex, zod, hymen, black monolith, violent turd]
One of Winnipeg's finest imports is now one of its most famous exports. Fanny crafts some of the most bizarre dance music you'll ever hear. Spastic rhythms draw you into the water and an undercurrent of subversive humour drags you away to uncharted depths. His work proves that music can be serious and complex and wickedly funny.

UFO
Imitators can be found everywhere, but originators are few and far between. UFO witnessed the birth of techno in Winnipeg and his sets of 303 infused madness ignited dancefloors and propelled people into the future. To this day there are warehouses known only by their street number - UFO rocked them all and spun the crowds into his alien universe of rhythmic delights.

Devious Lifeform
He got his start as one half of Modulo 2, before striking out on his own and creating a unique hybrid influenced equally by breakbeats, acid techno and minimal sounds. The result defies description, but electrifies a crowd. We've asked him to put down the funk and bring the fuck. Be assured that it will be brought.

Zan
As a key player in the Symptom Technologies crew, Zan has played a role in assembling some of the most memorable parties of the last eight years... in addition to his promoting, he's also been a sought after performer - and one of the few that has ever dared to tangle with Fishead. Is there a score to settle? Even we don't know.

Wellington's, under various names, was an institution for the better part of a decade. This journeyman started lighting up floors when acid house and industrial were still giving birth to the earliest techno... and continued to bring us Danceable Weird Shit for years to come. His choice in music filled the minds of nascent DJs - and his work as an import buyer filled their record crates.

Not Half [no room for talent, d-trash, invasion wreck chords]
In the beginning there was an Impulse... and Not Half has been there since the beginning. In a city filled with unsung heroes, he may be the most unsung of all. His career spans two decades and includes releases under a host of different names, including some of the earliest electronic music ever to come out of the city.

Fishead [alien scale, northern hardcorps, massive magazine]
Uncompromising and unrelenting. He did everything his way and became the first DJ to really break out of Winnipeg. His frequent gigs in the midwest, and his work writing for influential magazines like The Skreem, Activated and Massive helped put his hometown on the map. His close work with artists and labels led to the release of some of the most important electronic recordings of our time. Ten years ago hailing from Winnipeg was considered a stigma, now the city boasts an experimental scene that is respected and praised worldwide. Others have carried the torch, but Fishead lit the flame. This will be his final Winnipeg performance.
