STFU 2 [ Static Link : iCal ]
City:Canada, Ontario, Ottawa
Time:Sat Aug 27, 2005 @ 10:00am
Promoter:AIIA
Location:Auberge De Rapide
Description:Ashes2Ashes Presents : STFUx2
Twice the DJ’s
Twice the Venue
Twice the Sound
Twice the Party

Get your dancing shoes on for an end of summer bash that’s not to be missed! Get down with the hard hitters of the Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and the UK scene on a soundsystem that will blow your socks off. Here at the Ashes2Ashes camp we realize the importance of a quality sound and lighting system because it’s not a PARTY without BASS...

For your visual pleasure we will also be having a wikkid lights setup. Following the theme of the first STFU we will be decking the venue out in camo and jungle vibes so make an effort to wear any camo you have! We want to see the junglist massive out in full effect!

This will be a party that you won’t forget. We are pulling out all the stops to make STFU2 all it can be. This event will only be successful if community is there to support it though. So drag your friends out and show them what partying is really about. Remember… the more people, the bigger the party.

(Drum and Bass)

It didn’t take long for DS-1 to claw his way into almost every club that promotes drum'n'bass in the Toronto area. That was 4 years ago, fast forward to today and the shockwave is still present. His studio productions are undeniable, with 3 releases to date and more to come you know the sound, you know the vibe. He is a proud member of the Furious Records camp, (who need no introduction) and is always bringing something fresh and new to the table.
Always a crowd favourite and we are going to show you why...

This is one hard working girl. Not only does she dj with the charisma and charm youd expect from someone this beautiful, but she is also responsible for running club 254 in Toronto for a solid two years. Nowadays she spends her time impressing audiences everywhere and is very ambitiously working on a rave community outreach program which will involve festivals, forums and almost every aspect of our club culture. This girl is not to be missed!

Hip Hop - Turntablism - Freestyling

A Toronto based hip hop dj, Delusive has been ripping it up oldschool since he was a wee lad. Always wanting to give it that extra touch, Delusive turned to the more creative tip of djing by getting into scratching/turntablism. His blend of pure party tracks mixed with some of the dopest scratching will get your ass shaking without a doubt.

Deedot (Breaks vs Techno)
Norml

For this night Deedot will be straying away from his usual style of dnb. When I asked Deedot to play the event I needed something wacky. He suggested a Breaks vs Techno set. I looked at him funny (I think he liked it) but he assured me that it would pound like no ones business and not worry about it. When a man with such experience tells you 'don worry bout it' you don worry about it. BLAOW!
