-Pyrotechnics inside a small place like that? Seriously?! Just WOW...really WOW! -No one responsible tried to put down the fire while it was small? Does fire extinguishers were near in case IT HAPPEN? What about a fire sprinkler system, no? WOW...just...WOW! -Exit doors opened into the place, not to the outside, guess what happen when panic show his face? Your Stuck! Same thing happened to the Blue Bird club in Montreal in the 70'. -Panic: The worst thing you can do. More contagious than the flu in a group 
Pushing people wont make you go out or pass faster, going out in calm will (DAH!). WTF, nobody remember those basic fire evacuations rules during school back in the days? c'mon! -100 died, 114 injured in less than 9 minutes. |

Reminds me of the time I noticed a malfunction with a wall-plug at Saphir's -- it was weird, and so I pulled the plug out and got a big spark, with smoke and and a lick of flame (one of the metal prongs was just gone, all around it was melted), and that area was covered by a curtain ... I can't imagine what could have happened that night if I had dismissed what first seemed to be a superficial problem; gives me shivers after seeing that vid ... |
