 Coolness: 129660 | Im looking for more stuff like this if anyone has suggestions. Any dubstep thats more ambient, atmospheric with a strong dub feel would be appreciated. I like this one because it has one of my favorite dub poets on it, Linton Kwesi Johnson, so any cool remixes or mashups of classic reggae with dubstep would be welcome. Nothing too dancefloor please, Im looking for stuff to play in chillout sets. Thanks! |

 Coolness: 50320 | Most of the older (2005-2007) dubstep is really chill stuff.
Skream's self titled album. Kromestar, Mala and Coki (digital mystikz), Plastician, Distance, Burial... Look for the DMZ releases for the older and more chill beats. Kode9 is a true pioneer of bass music, his Memories of The Future is incredible. His label, Hyperdub, also releases lots of good stuff by amazing producers.  Coolness: 75610 | the two Grime comps on Rephlex are well worth checking out... the second one, in particular, is really solid... sides by Loefah and Digital Mystiks, as well as a full LP of Kode 9. |
