Heat Worship House Promotions
HEAT Worship House is a group of event promoters in Ottawa, Canada for whom electronic music, DJ-ing and putting on parties is a big part of expressing their faith and pointing hearts to God. Raves can get a bad rap as being a cesspool of drug-filled debauchery, but we believe in clean parties with a positive vibe where techno, dancing and artistic expression are the focus: something both our raver and church friends can enjoy. We are committed to delivering top-notch raves with music and visuals on par with any promotion company or club out there. We have some amazing new guests and we will be featuring our unique collection of UV glow-in-the-dark paintings, some artists will be adding to the collection by making new paintings while the event progresses. Details: SATURDAY, SEPT 18, 2010 - 8pm-2am - Ottawa ON, Canada The Basement of St Paul’s United Church, 473 Cumberland - corner of Cumberland and Daly St. $10 at the door, 5$ in advance. 16+. This is a video of their last event: ------ IMO it looks pretty good; the vibe is gonna be really cool. I might go check it out. Like clearly if you're there, you like the rave culture and the music. As a raver who has never done drugs, I see this as a real networking opportunity. And im gonna get a chance to experience what its like when everyone is on the same wavelength as me - sober! Honestly, being the only sober one at every rave I've ever been to was starting to get old. This is gonna be pretty refreshing. And lets face it, theres gonna be a ton of PLUR at this event. I just know it :D |

I agree. Well, some of my friends rave without drugs, and there's me, so, you're not the only one on this website who can go to hyperspace sober ;) But I don't like the "segregation" (not sure if that's the good word) Like, christians only, muslim only, etc... It's a rave, isn't that about acceptance and diversity? |

It's actually not like that at all. It's simply labled the Christian Rave cause the Ravers here started calling it that. I worked on the last party with them and I personally think that religion is a joke. I believe in God but I don't believe in any form of church and they (the promoters) are very accepting of that. They don't try to force me into coming to church or anything. They simply throw a good party.
