KJ Sawka - live drum and bass, one guy, drum kit, samplers I can think of a bunch more but they're all breakcore. (What's with these repetitive drumloops everyone's so hooked on? Eye-D and Hidden from Holland are both really solid (they also work together on hardcore tracks as Outside Agency)...

hard techno:
Mark Verbos is so criminally fuckin' under-rated it's not even funny. He lives in NYC now, and he's an awesome guy.

btw: Christoph de Babalon would be a better choice than Empire... but I don't know whether either has really done anything in the last five or six years... Edgey's also got some solid material.

The Advent, Justin Berkovi, Cristian Vogel... and if acid-techno is in the mix then I guess I'll second Rowland The Bastard - he played at one of the barn parties and was a great guy to hang out with... Geezer is pretty solid as well (his live set at Furthur '99 was killer)...
