When i was a teenager, me and my friends use to go drink in this very small forest. It was called Terra Cotta. There were also others from school like Saint-Thomas, Polyvalente Des Sources, etc...When we were kids and playing soccer, we saw people go drink there and eventually we did too as we got older.

Does the "tradition" still continues? Do West Islands kids still go drinking in the woods, or has the suburbs completely deforested everytihng for housing units?

Hmmm, I don't know if it stills exists...
I used to go at PDS, but I never heard of it.
Well, ok, I didn't have many friends at PDS either ;)
Was too much of a freak I think. Meh...

of course it's still there.
only difference is they put wood chips all over the trails so it's not super muddy after rain.

Ahah I was also doin' that younger in Victoriaville.
There was a wood where we used to go and make fires at night.
The cops was always coming and we used to run to escape them.

glad to know its still around...

the best place to hang in the waste though... by far...

fairview shopping center parking lot!!!

that place would see like 200 skateboards a night, then the cops would come everynight and we would take off to the unemployment center aka "imigration" to skate some more...

or we would go smoke joints at the "trampoline park" and molest teenage girls on acid...

i think that park is acctually the first place i got my fingers wet?

i can clearly remember sniffing them the whole bus ride back to my buddys where i eagerly made him sniff them too!!

I used to live like 3 streets away. Braebrook baby! Yeah they made it all ''pretty'' now. Woodchips everywere! And they worked on the stream too. It used to be all ghetto and swamp like but now it's aritificially ''natural-like looking'' ya know. It was better before if you ask me. Sure it got crazy muddy but at least it was an actual forest and not a made for TV one.
Give it up for école primaire Pointe-Claire!

teracotta is the bomb, a nice quiet place to have camp fires and drink some 40's.
unfortunetly now its off limits to bikes and if you'rercaught there with one you'll get a ticket.
but hey, camp fires are forbiden too...

i thought that was what that park was for?

thats the only reason i've ever been to terracotta...

yeah no comply... there is a good chance you do know me if you skated in the west...

i looked awfully different then than i do now though...

i had bleached hair and giant goatee tied up in rubber bands.

and i usually rolled with kids from dorval or roxboro/ d.d.o.

yeah man, fairview terminal with the skaters. and another spot was bumgrass, behind the shopping centre where moe's is.
that trampoline park was death for mosquitoes so we didnt go there too often. also the field across from where video roma used to be on st-johns. if anyone on here was partying there circa '94, my mind will be fully blown. that field was so big there were sub sections; the pit, pink floyd, the crop circles, the banger circle

Haha, those were all my old stomping grounds. 94' was a little before my time, but still... those names (like Video Roma) bring back good memories.

Jesse Boyd. He graduate 2-years before.
Actually, I was really wanting to know if you knew Robbie DiBari. He's my best friends older brother and we all used to skate together at the unemployment together.
