I didn't get to stay as Gravity forcefully removed me before the door opened.. Anyone on the street got to meet me, or at least hear what I had to say..

The deco was fantastic and I'm glad I could be of help handing out flyers and setting up the chair layout and the deco components before the second truck came.. Really wish i could have stayed but Gravity is no place I ever want to be again, unless its to watch the staff of it handcuffed..

Please read this..
[ rave.ca ]

Boycott Gravity! When you rent a venue, the venue is yours for the night, no longer should the owners be in control of the patrons and the promoters.. but they will not give up every bit of ability they can muster to continue to profit illegally by selling drugs and by stealing from us ravers only to sell back to us our own shit.

I hope that next time and every time from now on.. Promoters will NOT consider Gravity as a venue, more it'll be seen for what it is, a prison.

I look forward to attending Yzabella next year though.. at Pullman or some other such open minded and chill venue..

I guess they are pretty fucked up, I've never had any problem with them though. I guess everyone experiences a different aspect of every party, and some people got the worst case scenario version of it. I had a great time though and thought that at least the vibe between ravers was quite nice. peace and love!

I really appreciate that :). Music-wise I was personnaly very impressed with Hatteria and Maximus, they played only their own tracks and I must admit they are both onto some big things in the near future. They are both really cool guys anyway, they share our love for music, you know?
The costumes were cool too :P

Good party, nice deco, a little last minute organisation but who cares... just makes the anticipation better.

Oh and Hunab Ku... in case you haven't ever been to Gravity or any other afterhour in MTL, they search and will pat you down so if your staching, you risk having it confiscated if they find it.

Great party, a little iffy on the organisational part but it managed to turn out quite well. Crowd was really cool, nice vibe indeed.

My only real main concern was the mad-woman security guard searching at the door. Those have to be the mostly violently displayed PMSes I've ever witnessed in my entire life. She should calm the fuck down and breathe a little or consider getting a less patience-demanding job.

I have yet to see an angrier woman show so much dislike for a group of people before. My God, what did we do to her ? I understand being strict but that's just plain ridiculous.

But HEY, please do not link this event to the party's promoters. Understand this solely Gravity's responsability here.

I played mostly a DJ Set, I couldn't do my live because I lost almost all the refills I needed for my tracks about a month before the show. So being one of the few DJ's to actually show up prepared(although not properly prepared) I DJ'd my favorite tunes after playing a couple of my own creations. It wasn't what was supposed to happen but it seemed to work out well. Being my first set ever, either DJ or live, I wanted to test my theory that if the music is good enough, mixing doesn't really matter. I have since concluded that the music is all important, so I hope you liked my choices :)
Anyway maybe someday I'll do a real live, I just gotta get that cubase!
