Phat Pants

| Ever worn them to rave ? Or OUTSIDE of raves ? I know I have and still do, actually. In both cases.
I bought my first pair of Lithiums about 10 years ago. And I still have them. On me right now in fact. They are floods now ( aka shpants ). Dark blue. Weeeeell, faded blue now. Hahaha.
Who else can claim to still have them. Or better still : share with us if you know of a store that still has a few pairs lying around just asking to be sold. |

| I've been packing up my clothe yesterday and found my old fat pants from Arithmetik. Good old time, wonder how did I affort that. Studiing, part time working and doing illicite stuff every weekend and buy 100$ and up fat pants...
I wonder if I should keep those pant for my whole life or just sell them...? |

| ur not the only one, I still wear phat pants outside of parties but less and less, I have to admit....phat pants are disapearing though you might not have noticed so much since you make your own clothes. I have personaly have never made myself a single piece of clothing so I do notice first had that phat pants a being completly taken off the market.....I dont remember the last time I bought a pair cause they just dont make them anymore. |

| Exactly. They aren't sold anymore which is kind of stupid because you can find stores in town with all sorts of wacky outdated stuff like 70's t-shirts and 80's über-stylish stuff and you can even find store that will sell hippy clothes. Yet for a decent REGULAR pair of phat pants ? I have to get them made cause not ONE store carries them anymore. Baggy hip-hopish pants ? Well, that's a whole different story. You have a choice of about 7863 stores in town.

| I've still got my first 2 homemade pairs which are nearly destroyed from raving. I've got another 4 that i got on sale at some store on st denis... i don't remember what it was called. I still think phat pants are the most comfortable things in the world - great for lounging, partying, carrying lots of stuff instead of a backpack etc. But yeah you see them less and less which sucks and consequently, people look at you more and more indignantly when you actually wear them. It's too bad they've been reduced to a purely candy phenomenon. Nonetheless, I still occasionally wear them to class @ mcgill and the professors and students all look at me funny. |

| I bought my 2 only pairs of phat pants last year at meghom, they were part of the last stock of phatpants they ordered, so i guess this makes me one of the younger ones to wear that style anymore. And what's so annoying about all this is that just when I start getting into the phatpants/rave clothing thing, they stop making and selling phatpants. Oh well, fashion goes in cycles and everything that goes out of style comes back one day or another, so we just have to wait :P |

| Well, I've got a couple of people I could get in touch with to get them but it's a drag to come up with a design, find the right fabric and wait to have them done.
Then again, I'm lazy like that. But then again, I just looooove the idea of totally original phat pants made specifically according to my own specifications. Funny, as I'm writing this, I find the need to go ahead and get them done a lot more overwhelming than before. :) |

| True but getting lazy is super easy nowadays because walking around with the same pair of Meghom phat pants as someone else is almost impossible since only 15 people in town wears them now, Heh. |
