DESCRIPTION:Once again, the biggest, best and longest running festival of its kind touches down in Ontario, Canada. We promise the ultimate music weekend featuring hundreds of performers from around the world. Continuing the tradition that began at the very start of the electronic music scene, Destiny returns with its boldest production to date and very special milestone - our 50th major event!
Over the past decade, some of the biggest names in dance music have graced the stages of WEMF. In total, over 200 artists are booked for 2005. Two main stages cater to Trance, House, Techno, Breaks, DnB & Jungle with smaller sub stages providing hardcore, psychedelic and ambient beats to complete the full spectrum of electronic dance sounds.
Traveling to WEMF each year has become the thing to do for those who want an experience of a lifetime. In the past decade, well over 100,000 people have experienced the WEMF phenomenon. License plates from 20 states and 5 provinces were observed last year and buses were chartered from across the Northeast. If electronic music is your thing then this is your event!
