Easily the best toe-thumping dance hooks in years... Madonna's latest release is reminiscent of 1980's electro pop dance, a precursor to the house explosion in the late-1980s and 1990s.

She partners up with Stuart Price (aka Jacques Lu Cont) and Mirwais Ahmadzaï (aka Mirwais) to deliver a sonically exhilirating masterpiece of old-school dance. Mirwais is considered by some to represent the "future of sound" and has collaborated on Madonna's two previous releases: American Life and Music.

Tracks:

1. Hung Up
2. Get Together
3. Sorry
4. Future Lovers
5. I Love New York
6. Let it Will Be
7. Forbidden Love
8. Jump
9. How High
10. Isaac
11. Push
12. Like it or Not

I can't stop listening to "Hung Up" nowadays, haven't heard the rest of the album though. I don't think it needs to be "innovative" or pushing music boundaries, that's not what it was produced for. They made it to make people move and it does a pretty damn good job at it. This is not Warp Records people, it's pop music with an old electro vibe and it works, nuff said.

I think it's lovely. Finally, a return to her old style (sort of.) "How High" is definately the best track by far. Although "Get Together" has kinda a eurotrance feel to it.

Rarely so high a score for pop, but this one defines pop dance electro... true to Madonna's innovative style.
