actually it happens all the time with trance parties and festival since the psychedelic artists art gets printed on flyers without asking...we had a case in Montreal where a european artist was VERY VER Y pissed off at someone who used one of his paintings on the front of his flyer..its just not something you do...I guess you dont make art or music and know the feeling

its just annoying that he didnt talk to him before...If I use anyones images for flyers or anything..I always ask permission if im going to use someones art because it is their idea and imagination that created that image...even if I change it around for flyers its just the respectful thing to do....

its the same as if you wrote a track and someone copied it..you wouldnt be too happy...and if someone is flattered the right thing to do is ask the artist to use his idea. its more about respect.
