who cares what I do before my set as long as I am there for my set.
Being pro means no matter what is going on you still show up ready willing and able to do your set.
that's the point.
sorry I don't shove mounds of drugs up my nose to keep myself going. I needed a quick recharge so I closed my eyes for a few minutes. So please stop using those 15 to 30 minutes I had my eyes closed as an excuse.
I had all my records at that point.
No one went in my bag to grab them. The people around the decks and chilling in that area were all people I had met before and trusted, and they seemed like very straight up people.
My records went missing after I had started to go through my tunes to put my set together.
I was stopped from going on the decks because the promoter had no idea I could still preform in that condition, and i don't blame him for it. I had tried to discuss my point and got distracted from what I was doing and left a pile of records behind the decks. I had stuff with me to give away while I was spinning like shirts and stickers and cd's. I was prepared to put on a show, and had a lot of things to make sure I brought home with me. I was thrown off guard when I was told I wasn't playing, when I was at the decks, 15 minutes before my time slot.
I didn't make this post until much after I tried to find my records through the promoters and some of the other dj's at the event.
Not once have I accused anyone in particular of taking my tunes. I just simply want them back.
I'm not one for public drama like this.
I would much rather get things settled privately.

Let me make this clear.
I left my tunes behind and it is my fault that I did that. I am just hoping that whoever has them will return them. In the past I have returned records to dj's after they left tunes at events I have thrown. Even events I was just mc'ing at or spinning at. It's a common courtesy amongst dj's because no one wants to lose they're sounds. Anyone who has had records stolen or misplaced knows exactly what I mean.

This entire time i just thought one of the dj's grabbed them up for me so they wouldn't get stolen.
The title of the thread is "MISSING RECORDS" not "stolen records".

A new skateboard is worth more $$ than those records. Thing is I have a new board unused now. I don't have the cash to pick up the tunes again on hand. So I offer what I have.

I know they are all good people anyone that can handle me drunk, has to be good people.
