I hate to break it to you but romado's had some renovations done recently, and as far as I know they don't make their famous fire grilled chicken anymore, its rotisserie style now. Yes they still put the hot sauce on it, but it isn't the same. I find their fries to be less than what they used to be as well. Also, I would avoid ramado's like the plague on a sunday, they also don't make their chicken sandwhiches on sundays.

Patati patata is worth the wait, their prices are unbeatable for what you're getting. Anythigng there is good.

There's a tiny little caribbean place on parc right above villeneuve which makes great affordable food.

Beauties is good for a snack, if you don't mind sitting at the bar to avoid waiting to be seated.

La sala rosa makes great great food at a very affordable price and they are tax free.. yes that means the booze is tax free too!

Dusties is right at parc and mount royal and will satisfy your cravings. But they don't have a sign outside.

I have to dissagree there, just because people choose to care about how they look when they go out does not mean that they are less creative, artistic or deserve to be the first to die. In fact caring about how you look doesnt mean anything at all when it comes to anything at all.

Some people just care, some people care a lot and some people care very little.

Now, if I were to say that people who dont care about how they dress should be the first to die, when whatever senario takes place where what you wear determines when you die because of their unkept hair and wrinkled clothes, that would sound pretty rediculous. Mile-end/outremont - to a little east of mount royal metro.. I like that area. Walking and biking around there at night is the best. I think its a great area for young adults, great restaurants, bars, shopping, ice cream parlours, and no one gives you double takes when they see you walking around barefoot at 4 in the morning with a jug of wine in tow, Who could ask for more?


Westmount, its clean its nice, its convinient, safe.. regardless of all the pretentious snobs i've lived here for about 10 years and I really like it, walking home after bars close along sherbrooke doesnt take long and its a nice walk. Taxis from bars are about 10 bucks , the parks are amazing, great community activities and resources... but if I ever walked around barefoot at 4 in the morning, i'd probably be stopped and escorted home within minutes by security.

Mcgill ghetto was also a great place to grow up, I grew up on sainte-famille, and I would give anything to live there again, I dont remember it ever being that noisy and it was also a great neighboorhood for kids and community activities. I dont know if its still like that though... probably not safe to walk around barefoot though.

NDG is also nice and convienient.. but the parks arent all that nice, haha! Id only risk walking around barefoot in some parts.

I also like to fuck with considerably more vigor!
