Why don't people hang out in crews anymore? Where's my crew?
I used to go out when I was younger with friends and we would go 'together', now that doesn't mean we'd sit and stare at each other all night or anything, but it did mean we'd talk and drink and laugh and stuff.
These days I go out, and YES i'm there for the music first (most of the time), but I end up standing there alone all night. Sure I know people there and I say hi and do bits of small talk about stuff, but that doesn't really count because after it's over it's like "ok, i'm going to go hang out with my friends now". But not ME. I don't really have any friends to hang out with. Sure I know people there and I consider them friends I guess, but we're not friends enough to like "hang out" and shit. What happened to my crew? Why am I all alone all the time?
I guess I just wish things were like they used to be when I first started going to clubs, we were a team. There's no team anymore.
