It seems like years ago (nay, it WAS years ago) that we first came upon Montreal producer Subtone. We use the term ‘producer’ because at that point his fixation laid solely on creating, warping and sequencing auditory insanity that, especially at that time, was at a skill level far beyond what any producer we knew personally was able to pull off. The DJing came later though and given the focus, drive and calculated approach he took when creating music, it’s no surprise that he took to mixing it like a fish to water. Though one of the kindest and equally hilarious people it has ever been our pleasure to come across, the gloves are off when steps up to rock a set. Make no mistake, this guy brings it hard, rough and raw. So all you cry babies that can’t take the heat of healthy dose of agression better step up or sit the fuck down.
