| Description: | There’s one day a year when Ottawa is the envy of all Canada. The day when people come from Montreal, Toronto, Kingston, and Quebec City to celebrate with all of us. This year, Kapacity, Posativ, RhythmWorks, and Vandelay Productions (In association with The Guvernment and Aria, two of Canada's biggest clubs) have teamed up to throw a party that makes the out of town people say “woah”. Wednesday June 30th (and we all get the day off Thursday), we’re proud to present Believe at Vibe nightclub. For those who attended Cycle this past weekend, or the shows featuring Derrick Carter/a-trak, Bad Boy Bill, or John Digweed, you know the venue. Once again you can expect the big sound, big lights, and huge international talent (and great locals) you’ve come to expect from our shows. This time around we bring you two rooms of killer beats. Upstairs, area 1: ARMIN VAN BUUREN. neitherlands One of the biggest djs in the world, period. Last time he was here, it was one of the greatest shows Ottawa ever had. We’re looking to build on that. If you like Trance, there’s no missing this guy. MARTIN VILLENEUVE. tao recordings Marty returns to the venue a lot of us first saw him at. One of the hottest producers to ever come out of Canada, and the founder of Tao Recordings, we’re stoked to have him. BRAD COPELAND. [ bradcopeland.ca ] If you’ve seen one of his sets at Surface, you know how versatile Brad is. One of the most exciting and technically sound djs we’ve ever booked, he’s ready to play till you drop. SKRATCH BASTID. 3-time Halifax DMC Champ / 2003 Scribble JAM Champion / 1200 [ Hobos.Ca ] Skratch is a KapaCity favorite. An east coast phenomenon, Skratch is without a doubt one Canada's best all around Hip Hop dj's. He can do it all, party rock and showcase both what he will be doing in his 1hr set at Believe. MARCUS VISIONARY VS DJ LUSH. Theory / Visionary / Catchin' Wreck / Renegade Hardware. Canada Two of Canada's elite dj's & producers touch down for a special back 2 back set. Marcus & Lush have been representing for years, Ottawa favorites. They are known for great selection and next to perfect mixing. BANDIT MC. Theory / Focus. Canada I'm glad announce the return of Bandit. It's been too long. He's had the opportunity to MC over every international DNB dj that has come to Toronto at least once over the years. Never disappoints ! JONNY MAC. Next Level. | Extras: | This event ***WILL sell out****. So please avoid disappointment and get your advance tickets to make sure you get in. The promoters will have limited 25$ tickets to sell to the dedicated people who make it out to all our shows, you know who you are. All other advance tickets will be 30$, and will be sold at: Funf, One Unity Records, Record Runner, Norml, and Top of the World. Stay tuned for out of town ticket outlets Please note: we will be *very* strict on the guest list spots for this show. Support your scene, and get an advance ticket while they’re cheap. Price at the door will be 35$ before 12:30am, more after. So come out early, and have a few drinks before the marathon. |
