It is both a derivation and amalgamation of a masquerade, lingerie party, fetish ball, or burlesque event. The purpose of Le Bal Érotique is to: . Establish an annual event in Montreal that celebrates human sexuality . Create an environment of pure exhilaration, fantasy and titillation through the use of tasteful and awe-inspiring visual effects and performances. . Provide a forum where beautiful, adventurous, like-minded people sharing a similar mindset toward sexual attitudes and eroticism can meet and party. . Promote Montreal’s culture, diversity, performers and rich talents. Theme of the 2007 Bal Érotique The Garden of Eden…venture in…relish in its beauty, drink from its fountains of rum and vodka, be seduced by sounds drumming in your ear…one voice influencing you to revel in your innocence…the other, tempting you to taste the forbidden fruit… The aspiration of le Bal érotique 2007 is to create a fantasy world of beauty and temptation; a royal playground where only the enlightened can feast on its wonders. This year the theme is meant to enchant participants with magical imagery from the Garden of Eden and incite them to uncover the raw elements of their own sexuality. Montreal - Kinky City Montreal is already known as a city of eroticism, partying, laid back attitudes and fun. It is now time to offer a new event to the scene that offers all this and more to women, men and couples, straight bisexual or gay. A city of erotic diversity now has a party to help promote that aspect. Date and Time Friday, August 10, 2007 Doors open at: 9PM The ball ends at: 3AM Place: Club Opera 32 Ste Catherine O., Montreal, Quebec Performances The event will have performances by: The Pinup Saints Higher Limits Entertainment Extreme, Artistic, Art, Concepts Music The 2nd edition of le Bal Érotique brings back DJ Stéfane Lippé after an inspiring and exhilarating performance at last year’s event. This year he is teamed up with veteran Montreal DJ Eddy Jasmin. The two will “battle for the souls” on the dance floor and take revelers on a journey of purity and debauchery. The happy house sounds of Stefane Lippe represent innocence, light and purity while Eddy Jasmin will tempt the dance floor with deep and dirty house music representing hedonism and decadence.
