I agree with what most people said: The rave scene is fine but most of our social network have migrated.
It is at the point that even Noah don't put Gazebo events in to the calendar... :-/
It's sad for me, I like rave [ .ca ] it was very nice back the dayz and full of life. It was THE underground rave network, our community. It was special to be part of it, that people from the same culture, same passions connect together and organize events.
To be saved, reforms need to be done (new version, new app, iphone friendly, be more visible ect) to have advantages over facebook. If there's no motivation and actions done, it's gonna be over;
The rave scene will live but not rave [ .ca ] :-( |

| I won't join facebook ; I was so glad when I accidentally stumbled on my inactive account and eradicated it. I wonder what I'd do if events would stop being posted on this site but I'm not about to join something that--many--people can tap into. Nuclear could have sold some of its user data but he might have had rejected some dubious offers. I'd be really surprised if facebook had ethics. |

| I remember a time that the owner of Opera (extinct now) offered 50,000$ to take over the site and I said nope... :) The good days! Hahah... But I don't see myself shutting the site down. The mass amount of information on here should be around for a long time to come. Maybe someday I will make a new version of the site but while I'm working on building a fun community on PHub it's impossible for me to do both. |
